Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.14/day in the week to Aug 14 → 6.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The Bug menace is spreading. Retake and rebuild strategic bases, construct refineries, and complete high-stakes objectives to wrest control from the swarm. With massive maps featuring unique environmental hazards—from the blinding sandstorms of Valaka to the volcanic hellfire of Agni Prime—every mission is a desperate struggle for humanity’s future.
Up to 16-Player Co-Op: Coordinate between your squads to defend objectives, gather resources, and build the ultimate fortress.
Strategic Base Building: Use the refined ping system and building tools to erect walls, towers, and ammo stations in real-time.
The Carnage System: Experience the visceral reality of war as Bug corpses pile up, creating persistent physical terrain that changes the battlefield.
Intense Class-Based Combat: Master six distinct classes, each with deep progression, unique weapons, and specialized perks.
Dynamic Environment: The Bug menace is not the only thing you’ll have to contend with. The game features a time of day and dynamic weather system, which can help or hinder your cause.
The Ranger (Assault Infantry)
The Ranger is the premier boots-on-the-ground combatant, built for speed and agility. Equipped with a specialized jetpack, Rangers can rapidly traverse the battlefield to scout objectives or execute hit-and-run strikes. They excel in close-quarters combat, utilizing a versatile arsenal to keep the swarm at bay while maintaining high survivability. Whether flanking a Tiger Elite or rushing to a distant refinery, the Ranger’s mobility ensures they are always where the fighting is thickest. For the Trooper who wants to stay nimble and lethal, the Ranger is the ultimate tip of the spear.
The Sniper (Marksman/Recon) The Sniper serves as the eyes and ears of the Vanguard. Utilizing jump jets to reach high vantage points, they provide unparalleled reconnaissance and long-range fire support. Armed with the Morita XXX Sniper Rifle, they specialize in neutralizing high-priority threats like Plasma Grenadiers and Gunners before they can decimate the squad. The Sniper’s role is critical for identifying incoming waves and ensuring the team isn't blindsided. By perching atop mountains of dead bugs or high ridges, they can turn the hostile environment into a hunter's paradise, picking off Arachnids with surgical precision.
The Demolisher (Explosives Specialist) When the swarm becomes an impenetrable wall, the Demolisher breaks it. This class is an expert in all things explosive, trading subtlety for raw, area-of-effect destruction. Carrying a heavy mortar system on their back and a variety of grenade launchers, they can evaporate entire packs of Drones and Warriors in a single volley. The Demolisher thrives in high-pressure sieges, using their "Watkins Trigger" to clear out bug-infested zones. They are the heavy hitters necessary for holding the line during extraction, ensuring that no matter how many bugs arrive, they leave as green mist.
The Guardian (Heavy Defense) The Guardian is the Federation’s foremost defensive juggernaut. Clad in hardened armor plates and wielding the Morita MK3 SAW, they are built to anchor the frontline. Their core ability, Siege Mode, allows them to hunker down, increasing defensive stats and weapon stability at the cost of mobility. This makes them human turrets, capable of suppressing massive hordes while protecting more fragile teammates. If a base wall falls, the Guardian stands in the gap. They don't just kill bugs; they hold the ground that the Federation has paid for in blood.
The Engineer (Support/Logistics) The Engineer is the master of the base and the backbone of logistics. They are responsible for building, maintaining, and repairing the structures that keep the Vanguard alive. Engineers repair fortifications faster than any other class and can deploy specialized tools like flamethrowers and mines to create lethal choke points. Beyond construction, they manage the team's resource flow, ensuring ammo stations are stocked and defenses are reinforced during the heat of battle. A good Engineer doesn't just build a base; they turn a simple outpost into an impenetrable fortress of death.
The Medic (Support/Healing) Whenever a Trooper is down, the Medic is there to save the day. Equipped with a Medical UAV drone and stim-launchers, they can provide critical healing and long-distance revives even in the middle of a chaotic firefight. While every Trooper can perform a basic revive, the Medic does it faster and more effectively, keeping the squad’s combat effectiveness at its peak. They are the glue that holds the 16-player team together during prolonged missions, ensuring that every Trooper makes it home.
The Carnage System introduces a revolutionary persistent body system where defeated bug corpses no longer vanish. As you slay hundreds of Arachnids, their bodies pile up, creating literal mountains of gore, which can either be a help or hinderance, depending on the situation.
Gameplay Impact:
Dynamic Terrain: Dead bugs have full-body collision. These piles create new ramps that allow living bugs to climb over your walls, or provide Troopers with new high-ground vantage points.
Obstacles: Piles of corpses can block your line of sight or obstruct your path to extraction, forcing you to use explosives to clear the landscape.
Strategic Realism: You must manage the carnage. Ignoring a massive pile of dead bugs at your gate might give the next wave the perfect staircase right into your base!

Reviews
Haven't played in over a year, and somehow all my stats, lvls, unlocks and progression are at 0. Turns out they had an update over a year ago to re-work everything and add in achievements. Had close to 20 hours of gameplay progression that was lost. VERY de-motivating.
Lets be clear here, this game needs more content. However, I need like give a positive review as we need more games like this. Being the only game of this category, it is the best in class! I love the teamwork, the base building, the defenses, the play styles. Needs more work, but one of the best games ive played in a long time.

If you buy this game then you too can experience what it's like for optimization and netcode to get worse with every update. Been playing since EA was first available, very sad to see the state of the game considering it was once incredibly fun to play.
I can see the vision, but unfortunately the cinematics and trailers look better than the actual game. They make it seem like a very fluid and polished experience, which is not at all what you will receive in reality. From the moment you first try it out, the game feels very janky and the longer you play the more things you will notice. Pros - Mostly faithful to the universe - Nice community - A lot of classes and weapons to try out - Up to 16 players so you can play with a big group of people Cons - The balancing of the progression system and classes needs work, support classes don't feel rewarding - The AI is not the best and bugs will sometimes ignore you or be unable to find a path to you - The visual effects tend to be really blinding, it can be hard to properly see through them - The vaulting/climbing system they have in unbearably slow compared to the rest of your movement - The singleplayer missions are essentially tutorials for the multiplayer and are quite bland, it's nice to have an onboarding system but it should be labeled as such rather than marketed as a singleplayer experience Do I think YOU reading this should buy this game? Definitely not at full asking price. If you can pick it up on a sale, have a group of friends who are interested in trying it, or you REALLY love the IP, it can be a fun game to sink a few hours into, but it's not going to be a long-term obsession.
Service ensures crticismship! Can't lie, I totally got this game just to hold me over before buying Helldivers II a second time since I got it on Xbox initially and it doesn't transfer to PC for whatever reason. That being said, this game was a lot of fun for what it is, it's not complex, it doesn't have a massive amount of content, but what is there is pretty great. Making a new base out of a mountain of bug bodies will never stop being entertaining and pretty impressive, but it's better enjoyed long term with a solid squad of pals to jump into the spray and pray fray with.
<Build and battle the bug army >
This game are KF2(killing flood 2) hybrid with Minecraft game, in past are a huge IP from the movie which same name starship trooper, the over-roll levels design are like KF2 individual class own a levels bar on it, every upgrade or levels up gear need levels up all class to got it. How ever this game came out already two years, still there are massive small glitch and bug every where, the enemy bug will often bug out and stuck in the, the bot company stuck every where and deal nothing help, the connection are not stable that every minutes of play would crush or lose connection from the sever. the squad system is complete useless, there no different for the team comm or the squad system it all work out the same, and the mission design of this game have non creative, the campaign mission are tiny mission each take about less then five minutes to finish, since the bot are pretty useless which leading the mission failure several times because bot don't know how to use their gear or weapons well, the mission work out like pay day 2 with massive of chaos spawn out mission, which meaning you won't be able to choice the specific mission if you want.. The building base part are pretty fun part to fight along with other the class skill would spawn some heal station which are critical point to overcome the challenge in-game, there weapons at first you thought there are each fours in-game, but after unlocked you would found duplicate like three class using the same assault rifle, which explaining the huge player base disengage of the game. the exist player number are decease, still if you want some battle with bug or like the movie, then buy this on discount. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3733180228
Os desenvolvedores claramente incluíram bugs demais neste jogo e esperam que nós os resolvamos. Estou fazendo a minha parte. Gostaria de saber mais?
DO NOT BUY THIS GAME AT ALL. IT IS A WORTHLESS PROFIT SINKHOLE. DEVELOPERS FROM OWI HAVE RUINED ONCE AGAIN A SMALL GAMING COMPANY THAT WANTED TO BUILD AND WELP. LOOK WHAT HAPPEN. LAGGY AS ♥♥♥♥. NOT TO MENTION WHEN IT WAS ON BETA THEY SWITCHED ENGINES LOSING EVERYONE'S PROGRESS AND HAVING TO RESTART ALL CONTENT. WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO PLAY A A GAME THAT RESETS EVERYTHING YOU WORK FOR. OWI SUCKS DO NOT PLAY THEIR GAMES
**Starship Troopers: Extermination** absolutely nails the feeling of being dropped into a massive, desperate battle against endless waves of bugs. The gunplay is satisfying, the battles get insanely chaotic, and seeing dozens of players working together to build defenses, complete objectives, and survive huge Arachnid attacks is incredibly fun. When everything starts falling apart and everyone is unloading into a swarm while screaming over voice chat, it feels exactly like Starship Troopers should. The base-building and class system also give the game more depth than just shooting bugs, and every match can turn into a completely different experience depending on your team. It can be chaotic, messy, and ridiculous—and that’s exactly why it’s so much fun. **Would you like to know more? Highly recommended.**
Want to know more? Please not that this kind of a limited recommendation: Starship Troopers: Extermination is a great game if you are into the Starship Troopers Universe. It captures the feeling of battles against hordes of bugs in a remarkable way and the community of players also is great. However, Starship Troopers: Extermination struggle with the fact that its developers are dedicated and genuinely come across nice, but implement things slowly and often long after they should have been. As an example, daily missions only have been added recently while similar games would most likely start out with them. There are a lot of classes and weapons, that serve different playstyles and one can level those classes as well as weapons. However, the reenlistment system the game has sets back the level of your class (but not your weapons) once you reach level hundred and agree to reenlist. A fact I found rather tedious after the second time… A further problem is that most players you will encounter are nice but the player base is small at this point. You will find games, but might have to switch servers or wait several minutes if you want to play a certain mission or type of mission. So, all in all: If you like team-based horde shooters set and/or Starship trooper you can give it a try – because as you know: Service guarantees Citizenship!
