Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Wtf is this lmao, cant explore space because its a loading screen to each planet, cant fly from orbit to the planet because thats also a loading screen, every room in your ship is a loading screen, game is garbage lmfao.
Don't believe the hate around this game, this is a very good game, with a great story and classic Bethesda NPCs. I recommend sticking to the main and side quests, since if you try and spend the majority of your time doing open world, then it can get repetitive, which I don't mind personally but some people have a problem with it. It is one of those games that you will either love or hate, not much of in between.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

One of the worst games I ever tried to play. It makes Mass Effect Andromeda seem like a good game. Everything is badly designed, convoluted, clunky and full of old Bethesda problems. Characters with voiced lines and proximity sounds walking away from you midscene so you cant hear their voices, voices and music randomly cutting off, 27 submenus that are hell to traverse and even find, ugly UI and fonts and a story already so unbelievable and unengaging I literally have played only one mission. Combat would be alright, if it wasnt for constant stuttering even on lowest settings. Unoptimised beyond recognition. Im genuinely mad I cant refund this for technical problems.
Check my review history I have never complained about a game and rarely waste my energy with negative reviews I just move on. I Bought this full price, do not make the same mistake, so many problems. Heed this warning do not buy.
This game was definitely set up to be something bigger than it ended up being, like most present-day Bethesda games. The gameplay is fun, and can still scratch the itch for an open-world space game. The character creator in this game also feels a lot more free than many other Bethesda games...but that's about where the bus stops. Bethesda still continues to fail creating stakes on why anything matters. Exposition is dull, characters are monotone and forgettable. A shame, really, because Bethesda has all the resources at their fingertips to make masterpieces--but can't seem to find a way to inject any soul or passion into their projects. As impressive as their worlds are, you will notice right away some extreme repetition in generation. You'll land on an outpost on one planet, and have the worst deja vu when you find the exact same outpost with the exact same enemy spawns. Quests (if your questline isn't bugged, that is) can feel really boring to sit through for this reason--often boiling down to "go to a location, kill a bunch of people, then go back". The traveling between planets is also extremely boring. Very rarely, there'll be one or two pirate ships to shoot at, but for how much they fleshed out fighting in space, including having entire skill trees devoted to space travel, you'll never see it used much. I love space--I love vast worlds to travel and explore. People were so ready for this to be the DEFINITIVE massive open-world sci-fi game. It's extremely unfortunate that Bethesda phoned it in.
Do not buy this GAME! Do not buy this game unless you are willing to spend hours on other worlds and exploring space. If you want to waste your money skip all of the adventures and side quests. This game is not for those who want a quick 30 hour game. From the moment the first notes are played from the amazing soundtrack and the glare of the star beamed its light from a distant planet I knew I was in for an adventure unlike any I have had. No this is not Fallout 5. While it does have some classic elements from the creators like crafting and dungeons this game plays on a totally different vibe. Please do not expect fallout. IF you play this game with the mindset of being an adventurer you will log well over 100 hours before you even see the credits roll the first time and the credits rolling is not the end of this adventure. Play again as the same person but experience a new life. Journey to the STARS!
Completely missed the point of space rpg game. And if authors try to push that it is 'their vision' then guess what... you need a market for your vision to sell. So what went wrong: big, empty, generated world. Nothing seems plausible. You can travel all over the planet and see generated POIs littered like crazy. Space travel is as boring as pressing F Character development is boring Endgame special dragonborn I mean starborn quests are the bottom scraps from the barrel. You enter an empty room, float around, BANG you get magic skills. Where is a mystery like finding dragonborn temples, solving puzzles, travelling across deep, long dungeons that looked fun? Not here. An empty room where you float to get a new skills. We all float here. Exploration is NOT fun. Instead of being rewarded for actually finding something interesting - you get a generic, generated content littered with random junk. Story... eh, story was never even good since morrowind so I will not comment on it. And to the devs - you may defend this title as much as you want - but ultimately you want to sell a product unless you want to just hang it out in a museum of art? Listen to the player base and stop trying to sell cheap, generated slop.
I wanted so badly to enjoy this game, but I can barely get past character creation before feeling done and turning it off. On launch, it came with some of the new hardware I got for my PC, so it was technically free. I thought that, surely, it would run okay on hardware that it came with. It didn't. It crashed repeatedly before even getting to character creation. I tried messing with every setting I could think of, and had my partner, who is a software engineer and builds computers for fun, try to fix it. Nothing worked. I was able to get to character creation once, but was so done that I just uninstalled it. I tried playing it again this past week in 2026, and I still don't enjoy it. The first little bit of the game is boring, the dialogue feels like talking to robots, and the first actual quest you get doesn't make any sense. Don't get me started on the totally dead looking eyes of the NPCs and how kind of awful the animation is. I was really looking forward to this game, as someone who has played all of the Elder Scrolls and Fallout games and enjoyed them. But this isn't it, especially when you compare it to games that came out around the same time, such as Baldur's Gate 3 and Rogue Trader.
I don't know why I keep buying Bethesda games after fallout 76. It's a normal Bethesda game with neat space ships, lame Bethesda gunplay but better gun mods, 1000 planets and some stuff on like 10. Building and resources are kind of clunky. It's like 4 games in 1 and none of them are all that great. i never played NG+ but the starborn thing isn't all that motivating. Honestly, I've reinstalled this twice and I can go like 5 hours before I just can't care anymore. It was mostly min/maxing spaceships and trying them out this last time.
