Starfield is the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and Fallout 4.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.57/day in the week to Jul 30 → 15.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

not a bad game, but not good either... so much potential wasted... bethesda, what are you doing? my main problem with the game is the flow, when playing a space game i would expect it to go somehow seemless. star citizen, No Man's sky & elite dangerous show how amazing it can be to fly through space and how well they hide their loading spots. But sadly, bethesda didn't took this road, instead everything is behind loading screens & menu's. want to fly up into space or land on a planet? thats a sequence loading. want to get in your ship? fade to black loading screen. most shops and general enteriors? behind a loading screen door. it's obnouxious how many loading phases the game has. often enough it feels like the game is running on the Skyrim engine, perhaps it even is? didn't check, don't care... but if it is, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hell, making a space game in an outdated engine that isn't meant for big enviroments that a space game needs? the other problem that makes the game feel weird is the quests, specifically the main quests. picture this: you are in a future where long distance space travel is possible, all sorts of weapons, technology and even "magic" is available and yet... you still have to fly everywhere to simply talk to someone. looking at you Vladimir! you are sitting in a long distance scanning satelite and yet you don't have a phone? e-mail? i'll take a damn fax or even light signals, if it means not having to travel back and forth all the time just for a 2 minute chat and a some new coordinates that could have been easily sent to me by other means... Humanity colonised the living hell out of those systems, but is unable to build any sort of long distance communication?

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 19: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Starfield feels like a combination of Bethesda and BioWare, as they have leaned pretty heavily into developing your relationships with your companions, in a way that I really enjoyed. The voice-acting is stellar (ha), the gunplay is satisfying, the shipbuilding is engaging, and the customization is plentiful. The few issues I have with it -- no spoilers, but the main questline was one that I did not want to progress -- pale in comparison to the pros. I heartily recommend!
boring game Bethesda is out of touch with modern gaming.
Wtf is this lmao, cant explore space because its a loading screen to each planet, cant fly from orbit to the planet because thats also a loading screen, every room in your ship is a loading screen, game is garbage lmfao.
Its a nice and cool game but have alot of issues. I dont recommend this game. Bad optimization when you walk out of akila city to open world big fps 1 low drop it gives stutters and walk a bit further and the same. The old engine dont work anymore the grid system is old. I call them walking from invisible bubble to bubble and each time you enter a new bubble the fps 1 low drop. And i got a Ryzen 5 5600 x in the recommended says Ryzen 5 3600x is needed and got a rtx 3060 ti and recommended says rtx 2080 fps 1 low drop means cpu is to slow but i know now the bubble you leave is still in your processor and the processor need to load the other bubble cpu rise sky high tried everything but Notting works its the old engine
Holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥. I tried. And I tried. Even AFTER all the updates (if you can call them that) this game is boring. To put it lightly. It is just a mess of loading screens and pressing buttons on a map. Even a game that came out IN 2016 as a complete disaster (iykyk) had better ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Spaceship travel than this ♥♥♥♥. Unfort i cant refund it anymore.
Dont buy this! I bought this day 1, finished it and after 2 years I came back. - At launch it took Bethesda months to implement DLSS modders did it day one - The engine is just old, it loads all the time and not just the obvious ones, the hidden "cutscene ones too. - You wanna go into a building? load You wanna enter your ship? load You wanna take off from the planet? cutscene load You wanna jump to another system? Cutscene load You arrived at the planet and want to land? cutscene load you arrived to a planet and wanna go into a building? load You wanna go deeper into a building after 4 doors? load I mean its not much, a couple seconds, but after 50-60 hours its just bad for me - The whole story of the game feels bad. Like there are so many factions, background lore, but not much other than written articles. Its like an ocean thats only a couple inch deep. - The creation club is just as bad as any other Bethesda game. Like charging 1 dollars for mods that worth nothing and were free before and putting the DLC-s there behind a 1000 credit wall is just pure class. - The citires feels empty and the NPC-s are just dumb. New Atlantis, the emerald of the federation, THE center of the civilization and whats that? A tower with a park and a spaceport. Thats it with a couple shops and 30 NPCs max. - It also runs like ♥♥♥♥. I dont have the meanest rig on Earth, but with DLSS on Medium still around 60 that drops below on new Atlantis. - Characters and their arcs and the conversations feels childish and immature the pirates were somewhat fun. - At the end with the loophole to never end the gameplay is just boring - Its also 150GB...come on Despite all that they still asking big bucks for it. I rarely say this, but dont buy this even if its on sale. Maybe in like 3-5 years it will go under 15 buck, until then pirate it.
I can't touch this damn game man. It's a loading screen every other area, uncanny valley characters, abyssal weapons that are only useful if it's a high enough level, higher level = more spongey enemies, most boring story ever written ("It's Skyrim in space. You must become starborne" -Sseth) If this is the state of Bethesda that even the DLCs are so unappealing that I didn't even hear they were announced then I'll never buy another game from them until I see actual change that isn't just another remastered member berry "We made a remaster of our best game" when it's made by parasitic slobs who can't create anything worth buying that wasn't already made by better devs
I wanted so badly to enjoy this game, but I can barely get past character creation before feeling done and turning it off. On launch, it came with some of the new hardware I got for my PC, so it was technically free. I thought that, surely, it would run okay on hardware that it came with. It didn't. It crashed repeatedly before even getting to character creation. I tried messing with every setting I could think of, and had my partner, who is a software engineer and builds computers for fun, try to fix it. Nothing worked. I was able to get to character creation once, but was so done that I just uninstalled it. I tried playing it again this past week in 2026, and I still don't enjoy it. The first little bit of the game is boring, the dialogue feels like talking to robots, and the first actual quest you get doesn't make any sense. Don't get me started on the totally dead looking eyes of the NPCs and how kind of awful the animation is. I was really looking forward to this game, as someone who has played all of the Elder Scrolls and Fallout games and enjoyed them. But this isn't it, especially when you compare it to games that came out around the same time, such as Baldur's Gate 3 and Rogue Trader.
Game is bad and poorly optimaized. Even on a high end system it perfomred terribly. Full of jank and game was boring. Very lifeless. I was a die hard fallout and elders scrolls fan. Very sad.
