Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 27 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

So they updated it.....is anyone playing...no....is it still buggy ....yes......do i regret buying...yes
Played it on steam deck, I must say it brought me back to my child hood, to be honest that is all I could ask for in such a release. Glad it has proper controller support unlike the previous releases. Would recommend, on steam deck at the least.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

This could've been the easiest W on the planet for Aspyr
Will split screen ever work?
do not waist money, get the original 2005 version
Actually, in its current state, a pretty decent way to play the single-player content. Definitely still could do with some improvements, like the removal of the built in mouse acceleration from the original, but otherwise it functions well enough, and has been easier to play compared to the original releases because I can just turn the game on and play it without messing around with fixes, mods, and third party apps to make it function well on modern hardware, or have it tab out if I move my mouse too close to the edge and crash. If you do have any interest in it, get it on sale as the full price is just not justifiable for the problems it had and the amount of space there is to improve.
DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. Just mod the old game's. Aspyr have done nothing with the game since its lazy release. They have the audacity to advertise their most likely terrible upcoming remaster 'Jedi Power Battles' on their Battlefront Classic Collection page, rather then update/fix the game they have already released. STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM ANYTHING ASPYR TOUCH.
overall my experience has been good. the game still has it's glitches. I for one am fine that the online community isn't great(meaning lacking in those that play online in the game) because I mostly had fun playing this against the computer when I played the original. The biggest glitch i have experienced recently, which i unfortunately don't see getting fixed, is the Hero Assault game mode. the game crashes whenever i try to load a map with the game mode. which is a bummer because that is one of my favorite ways to play. it isn't a computer error either because i uninstalled and reinstalled the game and the same error happened. I hope maybe the developers see this and maybe they still care but i seriously doubt it.
Mods - Splitscreen - Controller support - 4k - If you grew up playing this on PS2, this is the new definitive experience. Not sure about the Multiplayer and I couldn't care less about that. If your intention is to play offline, I can absolutely recommend this. Mods recommended: Battlefront Legends
NOTHING LIKE OG BattleFront 2, All servers are dead, only buy if you plan on playing all solo content
