This is a fun "resource management" style game and Star Trek Voyager is a great setting. As someone who grew up watching Voyager, it was fun to revisit the storylines while playing something enjoyable. I also found the standard difficulty to be well balanced in terms of difficulty / fun. And, they did a great job staying true to Star Trek technology and nomenclature from the shows.
I really liked the xcom-like "base" building inside the voyager. The story components were excellent, especially exploring concepts outside of what was done on the show, and the success/failure chance for different options was done really well. The interface was a little clunky. For example, in some places "go back" is right click, in some places it's escape, and some places you have to click the right button and there appears to be no other way. The combat is affected by this as well and it takes some getting used to in order to be successful. At the end of the day, the map and combat should have all been 2D with a far simpler interface. I still really enjoyed the game, but I felt like "Starcom: Unknown Space" was actually a much better take on this concept.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you like Star Trek Voyager and RPG games, you'll LOVE this! Relive the entire series in a "What if" style form of story telling. Your Captain Kathryn Janeway, lead by her choices whether it's "canon" or you go down a different path... Play through episodic formats through many episodes like "Caretaker" "Message in a Bottle" "Drone" "Scorpion" "Timeless" "Unimatrix Zero" and "Dreadnought"... The only downside is that it is text heavy as Kate Mulgrew, Robert Beltran, Jeri Ryan, Garrett Wang and most of the cast aren't attached but you do get personal logs from Tim Russ and Robert McNeill. Fun what if, currently my Voyager was never taken over by Kazon with her crew stranded as they were dealt with before the end of my Season 2. The Cardassian Dreadnought B'Elanna was forced to destroy, is now an ally along with the Maquis Raider that wasn't destroyed during Caretaker, and rather than return the Romulan return to the past, he joined the Voyager Crew along with a few extra Talaxians, Kazon, Viddians and the full Klingon B'Elanna thanks to curing the Phage. Now I'm heading through Borg space, traveling a safe route to the Alpha Quadrant whilst leaving the Borg and Species 8472 to take care of themselves... let's see what happens next!

Star Trek: Across the Unknown is a little awkward to get used to at first, and the first playthrough can be rough while you figure out the systems. I’m also not crazy about some of the controls. That said, once it starts to click, it’s a lot of fun. The biggest appeal for me is getting to play through the story of the show in a procedurally generated universe. I really appreciate that some missions let you make different choices than the characters made on the show, and many of those choices can actually affect how the game plays out. The randomness can sometimes make certain runs feel harder than others, especially depending on which encounters and technologies show up, but that also gives the game a lot of replay value. At its core, this feels like Oregon Trail in space, and I mean that in a good way. It has some rough edges, but I’m enjoying it quite a bit. It also plays well on the Steam Deck. My displayed playtime is lower than my actual time because I often play offline while traveling.
中文翻譯不錯,不論是否為STAR TREK的粉絲,都是蠻棒的策略遊戲! 如果你也喜歡VOYAGER那更是必買! 誠意十足的作品
i love voyager and this puts you in the position of Janeway on making decisions. First run through I am just trying to copy Janeways decisions, perhaps next time I'll make my own. The game seems designed such that you need to use save and load a lot to get a good outcome of some random events, or you simply die. That part is not great, but otherwise fun manager.
This game was surprisingly fun. I don't usually enjoy roguelike games, but Across the Unknown does an exceptional job of not only capturing the look and feel of the show, but also using gameplay mechanics that feel appropriate for the setting. For me, it's the best made Star Trek game in a very long time, and I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of TNG/DS9/VOY era Star Trek.
Numerous problems with game crashing, also getting stuck at the trading station when returning to it after Neelix leaves.
