Reviews
So much potential was left untapped and as a customer you hoped for patches and DLC that would take the game's possibilities to the next level. Instead, Paradox has drawn a line in the sand. No more patches, no DLC, nothing. And that's why there's a negative rating.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Had some potential, but abandoned right out of the gate. Play Stellaris instead and get the New Horizons mod from the workshop. 100X better Star Trek game with actual development.
I have played this and own Stellaris but played this now finally before I jump to Stellaris - It gets alot of hate but I see the Goal - Have the four main factions remain in the Universe and win by Star Trek methods - It can be improved it could be so much more - If players would just encourage and help instead of hate and trash it could be somuch more - Grateful to the modders - Wish it would be a more productive game and design and community -but celest' vie
Wish it got A LOT more support, that being said; it's still the best star trek 4x and I can't not recommended it to a star trek fan looking for a cool space empire game. would buy on sale though
Waste of money abandoned by the developers.
So I had hopes for this game. I like Star Trek and I like Stellaris, a Star Trek game using the Stellaris engine should be a great thing right? Unfortunately the game just doesn't deliver enough. It's by no means the worst game in the world, if Steam had a middle of the road button I'd probably use that but in it's current state I can't recommend it and since it's not longer being worked on it's not going to get any better. The game never really captures the Star Trek feeling to me and the main way it distinguishes itself from Stellaris is by features it lacks in comparison to the more polished Stellaris. Honestly it's a little frustrating, you can see that there are some solid ideas. I like that the factions have somewhat unique approaches to gameplay and expansion the issue is there isn't enough there. With not enough content factions feel constrained to a certain path and the game feels kind of empty. It's a shame they won't be able to patch it and add more but if you're looking to scratch a Star Trek itch you're probably better off playing a mod in Stellaris.
In theory this game had promise. Build on the solid foundation of Stellaris and pair it with the powerhouse IP of Star Trek. The execution however was terrible. It is obvious this was a cash and grab project with too few resources given to development. There were some good ideas in this game that simply were not given the care needed to realise them. With the abandonment of development an the lack of a strong enough player base for mod support this game is a dead letter best avoided.
Ich mag Stellaris, aber ST:Infinite ist eine Frechheit - einfach so die Entwicklung nach kürzester Zeit einstellen, obwohl es deutlichsten Nachbesserungsbedarf hat.... ...einfach nicht kaufen!
Development is dead so beware. The game itself is playable, haven't encountered any significant bugs but i suspect economic balancing is broken. Somethings just don't make sense. The "claims" system (to take over planets) seems relatively broken, or unsustainably expensive. Mods help, but there aren't any major conversions - i don't expect there to be for this game.
