Good game but tons of problems, main one being player count, only ever one server with nearly a full lobby. Also want to mention that the gameplay can get annoying real quick, almost every gun can one shot you and leave you knocked out and at the mercy of medics (who barley revive or don't get a chance to), regular squad is a lot more balanced, yes WW2 weapons in general are more powerful, but you're not going to get knocked out completely because you get shot in the foot, there is 1000s of stories from WW2 of people surviving much worse, yet they can still fight, they still shoot, they can still move, not fully, but in some capacity, this game you get shot anywhere non vital and you're done for, you cant play unless you give up or get revived. At least with regular squad you are still able to shoot and move (albeit slowly), this game you get shot once and its basically over, regardless of where you get shot, doesn't matter, shot in the hand? KNOCKED OUT, shot in the toe KNOCKED OUT... Not expecting this to turn into COD and I don't want it to, but they need to balance the weapons so that that player experience isn't so unforgiving, getting 1 shotted 95% of the time just isn't fun, and in turn mostly comes down to who sees who first instead of actual skill. Game has a lot of potential, but it has so many flaws right now, and as it stands normal squad is a far better experience, i neither recommend or don't recommend.

The last update completely broke the game. Massive flickering.

I got this game for my birthday, the only server with people doesn't work. I want a refund.

It honestly blows my mind how many people hype up Hell Let Loose when Squad 44 is better in basically every single way that actually matters. Graphics? Better. Animations? Smoother and more realistic. Gunplay? Miles ahead — weapons actually feel like weapons, not airsoft toys. Sound? Night and day — S44 sounds like a battlefield, HLL sounds like a theme park. Models and textures? Sharper, more detailed, way more believable. Movement? Less janky. Combat? More tactical, more intense, more rewarding. Literally across the board, S44 does it better. But most players don’t care. They don’t want quality. They want easy. They want quick spawns, big icons, constant hand-holding, and a game they can half-play while scrolling their phone between deaths. HLL looks “hardcore” enough to feel cool, but it’s watered down enough that anyone can jump in and not think too much. That’s why it’s popular. same with every other thing in life the sheeple devour the pure excrement whilst the top tier quality gets almost blindsided.

It's either something that gets you immersed so much you feel like you're in the saving private ryan movie or something so extremely boring to the point you want to quit and NOTHING inbetween i just wish it had more players

the bad thing that made it unplayable was the servers strict rules
