About
Space Engineers is an open world sandbox game about designing, building and testing your own space machines. Construct ships, stations and planetary bases in a fully destructible environment, then explore planets and space, mine resources, survive hazards and engage in combat alone or with friends in Creative or Survival modes.
Play solo or in multiplayer, from small co-op outposts to huge community servers. Start with a simple lander, grow into a mining and industrial empire, or focus on warships and planetary fortresses – the game gives you the tools and physics, you decide what to build.
Space Engineers uses a volumetric physics engine: every block and voxel has mass, inertia and damage. Ships break apart, stations crumble and terrain can be drilled, carved and reshaped, so your engineering choices really matter.
Space Engineers is grounded in real engineering and hard science fiction, driven by realism and plausible near-future technology. Think modern space programs extrapolated into the future: realistic ships, stations, tools and systems where everything is built and simulated block by block. It’s about the machinery you build, not about magic or scripted set-pieces.

Do I need to watch a tutorial on how to play this game? The in-game tutorial is really bad imo. I see all the good reviews and want to experience what other players are doing but, 'how do I get there'? Game just drops you in and you're like "ok, now what???". Doesn't give you any sort of direction, I'm just standing waiting for this ai text bot to finish typing, oh? go mine rocks? Ok, I'm an expert at that, okay this is really satisfying, wait, my inventory is full... ok, now what :/ ... ... ... I think I'm gonna uninstall this >.>
I get that this is just meant to be a sandbox, but even so it does stretch the realms of pointlessness a bit. I got to the point where I could have built a ship to go into space but by then I could just not be bothered to actually do it. I used to play Empyrion, which I quit because there were so many issues with the implementation. SE is better built, but much less of a game underneath it. Maybe its just not aimed at me.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

взять на абордаж большой боевой корабль имея в руках только УШМ) возможно! построить кучу Дронов защитников?, а как насчет того чтобы построить огромный 3D-принтер для создания бесконечного потока дронов защитников?) есть фантазия? вам сюда!
Most frustrating game ever!! There are so many things that could have made the game better. After 1800 hours of Satisfactory this game seems like a Pre-beta version of a game that should have been stopped before release. I really really tried to like the game as I love the survival, mine, build, automate genre, but I end up angry every time I play it due to all the annoying stuff. I normally don't write reviews, but after x-amount of rage quits I felt the need to warn others... Sorry developers, but this is not something I will spend any more time on...
Probably the best looking, most potential having piece of absolut ♥♥♥♥ i have ever seen.

I hate this game. Doesn't mean this menu maze of software wont be loved by other people, But every time i've tried to dip into it, just no. I hate this. the menus alone were a test of my patience every single time. Driving is slow, flying is slow, building is just frustrating...Do i know even remotely how to play? no i guess not. This game beat me.
I keep coming back because it scratches that itch. Definitely worth playing especially if you've got friends to play with. Space Engineers 2 is going to be great!
I've played a lot of Space Engineers on official servers but ultimately its proven to be a buggy experience with new bugs on every update, and updates of diminishing quality. Unfortunatley QA testing is a luxury KSH cannot afford us.
Just needs more to explore... Seriously only 5 planets and 3 moons?! Not saying it has to be the next No Mans Sky but come on, really????
