Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 10 → 1.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

After finally having finished the game, I definitely would recommend it. It's not the best game by far, the writing and story can be a bit sloppy and the characters very one track at times, but it's still a fun experience none the less. The music and visuals are absolutely gorgeous and the battle system feels fresh yet familiar. There is some disappointing stuff, like dungeon designs lacking and removal of demon negotiating, but it's still a fine enough game. Also doing this for the sake of getting more non-mainline non-Persona SMT content. Please ATLUS we need more one off random SMT series
I cannot recall the last time I was this bored while playing a JRPG. Every single thing I've experienced within is the very definition of mediocrity. Nothing is good enough to warrant any kind of praise. Nothing is terrible enough to evoke any kind of humor. Just the most aggressively nothing game I've experienced in a long time. 5/10.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 29: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I like the game If you haven't played the first don't worry you don't need to
This games dungeons feel extra bland and dated, even for Atlus, and I just don't seem to enjoy it. I kept waiting for it to charm me and it just really didn't, so much feels so empty. The characters feel boring and kitschy. If you're a Persona fanatic you'll find something to enjoy, there's a certain zen to the grindyness but I've not been drawn back to it for over a year after leaving it on the backburner with 17 hours played.
Another excellent game from Atlus - although some other negative/mixed reviews have noted that the game dungeons are a bit plain and corridor-ish; personally this didn't bother me. Soul Hackers 2 takes on a much more laid back approach to the persona/SMT setup, which I thought was a good quality. It had all the systems you expected: demon collection/fusion, party with various strengths modified by the demon equipped, progressive dungeon diving, weakness system - but each of these things were done in a more simplified manner. The overall game is relatively short, especially for an Atlus game. About half the playtime ends up being the Soul Matrix optional content, but that does provide some character backstory, source of leveling without grinding the same places over-and-over, and also ways to provide some nice passives for each character to help build them up; so I think it provided a decent side area to break from story progression. Overall, if you want a lightweight persona without the calendar system/sim-management system this is a good one to scratch that with also being a fairly accessible gameplay wise and doesn't require significant investment.
game good idk what else to say
The Covenants are Chaos Emeralds, Iron Mask is Eggman, and Zenon is Chaos. Thanks SEGA. :l I'm a long-time Atlus fan, got into the franchise with Shin Megami Tensei 1 on SNES (It's still my favorite one), and have played every single piece of MegaTen IP since then. I love alot of it. Kyuuyaku (Megami Tensei 1+2), SMT1/2, IF, 3, 4, and 5, Persona 1(JAPANESE VERSION), 2IS/EP on PS1, Persona 4 being the only acceptable modern Persona game (that they'll probably mess up the vibes for in the remake), Last Bible Series (especially 3), Devil Summoner 1/Soul Hackers 1/Raidou 1 come to mind as games that have fantastic pacing, consistent setting that never really feels forced or shoved in your face, subtle theming that make you actually think about who you are, what you value, and most importantly, what you continue to fight/live for. Not to mention the music slaps in almost all of these games. And then there are games where I don't feel that as much. Persona 3/5 (very bloated story wise with alot of text that could've just not been there and the game would've played out either the same or better), SMT4A (the characters just being... weird for the sake of being weird? Looking at you, Toki... your only character trait can't just be that you wanna smash the MC), Strange Journey despite it having cool vibes, has writing like UUUUGGGHHH... I AM... DEFEATED... HAAAAAAAAAA... at the end. Yeah, no sh!t. I killed you, God. spent 80 hours grinding through hell for that? Yikes. Also please give me an ending where humans actually learn from their mistakes, at least for a long enough time, please. Soul Hackers 2 is sadly being added to the list of games I don't personally vibe with, or even like at all. The characters feel hollow, with no real motivations outside of their one personal goal, which by the way, is not good writing. The gameplay has to be some of the worst in all of MegaTen, with little room for strategy or planning. You can't even swap demons you have in your Demon Summoning Program mid-combat, which has been a feature since minute 1 of MegaTen existing. Member-berry demons (that are locked behind a paywall btw) are sadly not enough to keep me here. Mara has literally just been an excuse for the writers to put peni-related "humor" into the games since SMT4 anyway. (no, I don't think it's funny.) This game *should* be cool, but then you realize the Tokyo Mirage Sessions people wrote it. It all just comes off as sloppy and generic. Just make original IP anime or something at this point, Atlus. At least then I wouldn't have to give you 60-110 USD for dumb memes and flat characters I could get from literally any other story. Soul Hackers 2 isn't the worst game ever made, it's just boring, which in some cases is *worse* than being bad, because at least you can laugh at something that sucks. This is just not it.
