Sonic Adventure DX

This game genuinely sucks man sonic fans get a grip. the I'm saying this as someone playing it in the 2020s, so maybe back in the day this was the coolest thing ever but that game was just not too fun. ending had me rolling laughing though

Sonic Adventure is genuinely a really good game, despite the obvious camera and control issues. The game has its own aesthetic and I believe it looks good, and feels nostalgic at the same time, the OSTs are great as well (though not the greatest when it comes to Sonic games). It’s really fun to explore the different areas. What I especially like is the gameplay and the story. In fact, the gameplay changes from one character to another, which allows the game to still be fun and interesting even when replaying the story from different perspectives (and therefore, doing the same levels again). Regarding the story, the different perspectives is something I enjoyed a lot: you have to play all the characters’ stories to put the pieces together and to figure out the whole picture. It is also notably the first Sonic game with dialogues, so it was amazing to finally hear the characters, see their interactions, and overall, learn more about them. I think the game works great for a transition to 3D Sonic games, truly enjoyable even almost 30 years later.
