Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 4.14/day in the week to Aug 14 → 4.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Favorite Sonic game, but Big sucks
(review copied from my backloggd!!) The worst version of a port of a port of a GameCube remaster that wasn't that good to begin with. I guess it's not this thing's fault that it's like this, is what happens when Sega refuses to update you and just leaves you in the dust, but if you plan to play Sonic Adventure 1 in a Steam Deck or something, you're better off just getting a Dreamcast emulator than playing this on Steam. I don't think DX is as bad as some people in the fandom put it out to be, (although I am weirdly passionate about the textures that were replaced) but this version, especially in modern hardware is a joke. It makes me sad because this is one of my favorite Sonic games ever.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

While I wouldn't say it's as good as Sonic Adventure 2, I'd say anyone who enjoyed that game will enjoy this one, whether its more or less. Sonic Adventure does have more flaws overall (esp. if you're factoring in this being DX, mod your game please), but it's still very enjoyable. Sonic's still Sonic, Tails... can fly, and Knuckles' stages are a lot more fun to breeze through with the improved radar. There's also the other stories too which are also enjoyable, though you'll find Gamma's way more engaging than Amy and a certain large cat. The story overall isn't as action-packed or dark as Sonic Adventure 2, but it's still very interesting, plus there's a certain orange echidna that's hard to hate. Overall, if you liked the sequel, try out the original. Just know you'll likely have to mod it. I personally went with full Dreamcast-restoration stuff my first go, and I still enjoyed it.
this game was straight peak i used to emulate it back whe i was a kid but i never really got into it but now damn its amazing i will be playing more 9/10((that final boss was a garbage) worth the 10 bucks
Legendary game and I can see why!
oh no
lo mejor de dc
Ok.
I do find the controls a little awkward, but overall I love this game. Be warned, the chao system isn't as full as in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, but it is still very good. My favorite gameplay is, strangely enough, Big the Cat's.
