Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.29/day in the week to Aug 14 → 6.71/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I mean...it's Sonic Adventure 2. They made it into a MOVIE for crying out loud. This game is AWESOME...well, at least a third of it is, your mileage may vary depending on how much you like the mech and treasure-hunting stages (I didn't really at first, but they grew on me). Extremely difficult to 100% (as you can probably tell by my play time on here, I haven't gotten there yet) but also a lot of fun to learn all of the mechanics. I know a lot of people have issues with this version not working right even after adjusting the settings on the outdated launcher, but I think the worst thing that happened to me was the game crashed once after booting up. That said, there are some other things to note with this version (not all are necessarily bad): -The music in cutscenes can be way too loud sometimes (the captions are the duct tape holding them together) -Some cutscenes are still in 4:3 (prerendered ones and in-engine ones with a lot of effects) -Movement, primarily as Sonic and Shadow while rail grinding, feels slightly less precise than the GC version (which apparently already feels worse than the DC version, but I've never played it) -Some A-Ranks in stages like Cosmic Wall have a higher score requirement than in the DC version (retained from the GC) -Expanded multiplayer needs to be purchases separately, which is...dumb I'd highly recommend checking out this game's modding scene, especially if you can't get it to work by itself.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

AWESOME childhood game of mine with a ton of fun memories! I think Chao make me feel somewhat maternal; definitely the best part; I remember getting stumped on Rouge's part of Cannon's Core when I was younger and never actually finishing the game for years because of that. Moment I got to Knuckles's part for the first time though? Glitch. Deliberately. :)

Amazing Game, Awful Port Basically the title. The most glaring issue is the lack of Delta Time, where if the game exceeds 60FPS, instead of scaling the animations with the framerate, the game instead speeds up. Apparently it is a port of the Gamecube version of the game, which in itself is a port of the Dreamcast version. I don't see why they didn't put more effort into this gem of a game for Steam.
The soundtrack is amazing. The level design is mostly terrible, an unforgivable fault after Sonic Adventure DX's perfect designs for the Sonic and Gamma stages. The dialogs are unbearable, characters talk over each other way too often. Probably the most important yet overhyped game in the series.

eh simplesmente o melhor sonic ja feito
I think I played this game for the first time when I was like 3 years old. 20+ years later and it's still one of my top 5 favorite games. Hell yeah NOSTALGIA baby!
