About
From the creators of Solasta: Crown of the Magister comes another intriguing tactical RPG faithful to the world's most popular TTRPG's ruleset.

Create and guide your party of 4 adventurers as they head to the faraway continent of Neokos in a quest driven by their family legacy. In the face of the threat by the ancient and enigmatic Shadwyn, what choices will you make to push back the impending tide of corruption?
Solasta II is a grand sequel to Solasta: Crown of the Magister, a much beloved Tactical RPG known for its faithfulness to the Tabletop experience. Decades after defeating the Sorak menace, a new flegdling party of heroes travels to distant lands in search for redemption.

Solasta II remains true to its promise to deliver gameplay based on the world's most popular TTRPG. Prepare your spells, land that sneak attack, smite this monster - bathe in the familiarity of your Tabletop experience.
But that's not all Solasta II will have to offer. This new opus will also allow you to freely roam the lands of Neokos, to explore and uncover the map as you will. Whether you stick to familiar roads, or head off into the wilderness... The choice is yours. Just be careful - because as we've always said...
You make the choices, dice decide your destiny.

Right now this game stinks Loses functionality and bugs that prevent progress In it's current form, it is unplayable Really disappointed, enjoyed Solasta I Update June 11th, still will not let the game progress beyond the city, crashes every time
I loved Solasta I, and this has not disappointed in Early Access(EA). I just finished the EA Portion of the story, and it left me hungry for more. Of course, it is still a bit buggy, but that is typical with EA. Overall it was true to the gameplay in Solasta I, with some improvements. The faces of the player-created characters could use a little work. There are a lot of close-ups, and if you don't get the face right, you get some characters that look cross-eyed or just a bit freaky. My biggest disappointment in Solasta I was that characters could not be continued in a new campaign. I really hope Solasta II corrects that and gives us a chance to grow the characters after the main storyline. I will try to add or update as new updates are released.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

First of all it is too much early access to be possible to play. Bugs and glitches all over. Then the developers have unfortunately looked at Baldurs gate 3 way to much. Making it less of a game than Solasta 1. It is simply too much BG3 and too little Solasta in the game
Don't bother buying with the state its in, its worse in every way from the og apart from the graphics and even they are appalling. This games needs to come out of early access it should not of been let out in this state it is almost unplayable with numerous game breaking bugs terrible voice acting boring quests the list goes on....... There is far too much talking, I know this is a rpg but I actually fell asleep during one conversation its like they just made it all longer to justify supposed real voice actors(who should quit btw) , with out major redesign from the ground up I'm afraid this is just going to anger fans not please them, come back in 3 years
It started off really good but game became unplayable near the end of chapter one cause my characters kept i guess getting stuck on objects in combat and couldn't move or attack or even see the enemy so most battles one or two of my people were useless. Has a lot of potential but unplayable in its current state.
In its current state, there are a lot of bugs and many of the quests feel like they need a lot more context. This game needs a good one year of fixes and additions. Also, you can collect crafting components but the "crafting feature" doesn't exist in the game yet. Let's come back to in half a year and see...
Want to give this game a try I really do, but there are just far too many bugs right now to enable me to play. I would recommending waiting for future patches so the game is in an actual playable state. It is a shame the developers do not manage the same things more modern CRPG's do like ensuring the enemy AI doesn't get stuck in a permanent loop in combat making restarting the entire fight mandatory. NPC's getting stuck in the environment after combat or cutscenes. Enabling the entire party inventory open at once ala BG3 and overall improvements need to be made to the character creator like making a Dex fighter doesn't allow your character to have any armor equipped because you went Dex and the starting armor is Str. Needs more time to cook before i can really effectively play as I keep running into annoying bugs making me lose combat progress. Will change review after a few patches assuming these bugs get addressed.
I’ve been playing it for a few hours now, and I think it’s very promising. It’s clear there’s still a long way to go, but I’m fairly confident that by full release it’s going to be a very good game. From my humble perspective as a player, here are some constructive criticisms for the development team: -The character creator felt quite clunky to me, with limited control over the final result. Personally, I’ve never liked the system where you move within a triangle between three different body types, like the one implemented here. I think the Skyrim-style approach—where you could choose features and also tweak certain proportions or positions—was a good balance. It also feels quite lacking in terms of hair and beard options. -This is probably related to the current stage of development, but the environments feel very empty. Aesthetically, I think you’re doing an excellent job, but it gives me a similar feeling to Avowed: beautiful spaces that feel uninhabited or lacking interaction. -Maybe I'm just dumb but I think I noticed I have to press a cancel button to abort a spell. Being able to cancel it with right-click would be a pretty significant quality-of-life improvement. -There’s an issue with character expressions when they’re idle that feels quite off—like they’re slightly cross-eyed or constantly frowning. -Lastly, what I personally find most concerning: it’s clear that a large percentage of players will inevitably compare this directly to BG3, which is only natural. Even understanding that Solasta uses a different format (you don’t have a single main character, but instead create the whole party), I think that in comparison to BG3—where you have a main character and mostly very well-crafted companions—it feels much less authentic in its dialogue, which is a fundamental part of this type of game. When I played BG3, I felt like I had gone back to Dragon Age: Origins, Pillars of Eternity, or Mass Effect—games I consider iconic from my teenage years and that shaped my love for party-based RPGs. Now, every time I talk to an NPC in Solasta, it feels like I’m watching a conversation between chatbot assistants on a government website—both from the NPC side and from my own party. I think that the format where each party member can only ask one or two generic questions just doesn’t work at all. If character creation includes choosing a family role, maybe the dialogue and personality should be affected much more deeply by that choice. Also, dialogue options seem limited to extracting bits of information—there are no sarcastic remarks, jokes, insults, or anything that helps convey personality. That’s all my feedback. I’m really looking forward to the final game, and I hope you can take the time it deserves to make it as good as it can be!
Early, Early Access but More than Budget Baldur's Gate
Full review on 2 Headed Hero! No denying that Solasta II takes a lot of cues from one obvious source. But it also sets itself apart with its unique group conversation mechanics, world map travel, and focus on tilebased tactical encounters. There's a ton of potential, great cutscenes and enjoyable voiceover. Unfortunately only part of Act 1 is currently playable, and it's impossible to review what's not there. 20 hours will be more than enough to squeeze every last piece of content out of this early access offering. Support the devs if you believein the vision, but know this is likely years away from 1.0. https://youtu.be/sU49FPOf2Iw
update your level cap i hit it in the first 1 or 2 hours of playing i feel locked out of key character features at 4 and holy crap early release bugs i highly recommend you dont buy this until full release save yourself the heartache and wasted time. considering when the game comes out in full youll just play it all again anyways
