A perfect game to relax with. You can play it after a long day at work. You can play it at work. You can play it on your steam deck in bed under the covers. You can play it on the toilet. You can play it while you are waiting for the plumber. You can show it to the plumber, so they can play it after they get home from work. The goal is to try to craftily merge your way to the biggest sobos you can, without triggering the overfill. There's some surprising strategy involved. Because everything is physics based you can slingshot smaller sobos into the wedges of larger ones in the hopes they bury deep enough to join their crushed counterpart. You can also do things like rapid fire sobos onto one side to try to push the entire pile over to try to force some merges in the chaos. There's some other neat tricks to discover like being able to air merge, or developing strategies for how to get the 8k or even 16k sobos. I think the community will come up with some neat stuff no one even anticipated. It's a good game, in the purest sense of the word. It is the culmination of a lot of hard work, careful thought (and perhaps overthinking), consideration, and love put in by the developer, keepeetron. This might be a dying breed: games that are carefully nurtured, by hand, by their creators, rather than mass-produced. I've had the pleasure of being able to know keepeetron, and seeing them grow as a person to be able to realize their dreams. For anyone who has put real effort into creative work, you know what I mean. It can be so hard to cross that finish line and I'm so happy to see this game come out. If you believe in real people making real games, with a lot of love and care put into it, and you want to support that, I think this is an easy purchase, and you even get a fun experience out of it. If you're on the fence, just try the demo. Listen to the sound effects, watch yourself fall into a comfortable feeling as the softbody sobos join together to form larger masses. Make the decision for yourself, but for me it is as relaxing as listening to a gentle summer storm rolling in over the hills. To any players, I hope this game brings you peace of mind and at least a few hours of enjoyment, as it has for me. To any aspiring creatives, I hope you take inspiration from projects such as sobosuba and know that you can do it too! And to everyone, the world needs more sincere, heartfelt projects. This is one shining mote of light in what feels like a growing void of slop. I know sometimes voting with your wallet feels meaningless but in this case I *know* it is helpful. I hope my experience inspires you to fall in love with games, or any art in general, and improve your life just a little bit more. I genuinely believe sobosuba can offer that to you. Thank you, keepeetron, for sharing this game for us. I look forward to seeing what you do next.

sobosuba is spiritually a fishing game. you cast your line; sometimes it gets stuck in the trees or caught on some undergrowth, but eventually you land a big one, and you need not convince yourself that you meant to do that.
I'm not one for these kinds of games but this really surprised me and ends up being a very tricky and nuanced game to play (in a good way! much deeper than i assumed on first look)
Easy to learn, hard to master. Plays exactly like the store videos. Bright, colourful puzzle game. Wobble mechanics are great. Public leader boards. The only thing I'm not keen on is font is hard to read.
This is WAY too satisfying to play for a 2048-like with jiggle physics. The game's relaxing enough to sit there and watch number go up for hours, and the color scheme progression is a fun little side dish.
Play this game while stoned will have you go for hours if you like physics and easy math concepts. I recommend other stoners who wanna turn their brain off with this. I am so screwed for hours to come by. It's that good. And one I am glad I found before so fast.
Blob go squish Number go up Brain go yay A perfect example of a game with exceedingly simple mechanics that actually uses them to incredible benefit. The trailer shows off most of the tech, so you can do it too. Dev just announced a mobile version, too, and despite my aversion to that scene, I will be getting it for my phone.
Quite satisfying and pretty fun. The only thing is... is that there's not much to it and it gets boring after just a little while. I suggest adding more features and achievements like bigger sobos, multiplayer. new worlds you can unlock, and perhaps even more! I just think that if you add some more features to make your game EXTRA JUICY!!!, people will enjoy it more and it might become more popular than CS2(jk, but it's possible). I like it and I suggest you just try the demo first before buying it because of the simplism of it all. Dev, if you are reading this then thank you and I hope your game becomes an all-time classic one day, but for now, try to improve your game even more to make it impossible to put down.
