Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 28 → 5.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
As soon as you're spotted the entire map aggros you and has extra high perception, which means you're reloading every single time unless you want to go zero stealth for the mission. Too annoying, man.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 20: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

_____________8__88_____8 ____________88_8__8_____8 ___________888_____88___88888 __________8888______88_8____88 _________8888_______88______8_8 _________8888_______88______8_8 _________8888_______8_______8 _________8888_____8_______8 __________88888____8______8 ___________8888888______8 __888_________88888_8 8888888________88_____ _8888888_______8_____ __888888_______88_____ ___88_____8_____8_____ ____8______8____8_____8_88 _______8888_8__88_8_88888 _____888888_8_88__8888888 ____8888888__88______88888 ____88888_____8_________888 ____88_________8__________8 _____8_________8_____ _______________8_____ ____________8_8_____ _____________88_8_____ ______________88_____ ______________8_____
SGWC is an absolute W. The sniping physics are good, accounting for wind and bullet drop makes every long-range shot feels rewarding. The stealth hits different because you have pure freedom to ghost a compound, and the ability to interrogate targets adds crazy depth to the lore and the Seeker’s story. It is a massive brain move using those interrogations to extract intel and piece together a narrative that actually feels fresh compared to copy-paste modern shooters. Combining that tactical storytelling with infinite options to pull off a hit makes this game truly incredible.
One of the best stealth & sniper games I ever played, even 6 years after its realise. SGW Contracts #1 and #2 are similar (they also both have a lot of small bugs), Non-linear story and far better graphics, gameplay than the SGW original series,

Each region in the game is its own open-world style sandbox. You're given a list of "contracts" a.k.a. objectives to accomplish, but you're given free reign to choose how you accomplish those objectives. I have 100% (Steam Achievements and in-game progress) all areas in both Contracts 1 and 2 and had a blast playing both to full completion.
It's a very good sniper game, just like its newer brother (SGWC II). However, I must admit that this version has more bugs than the newer version. But despite these bugs, the game is still recommended and worth playing. The game comes with many sniper rifles that are based on real life ones. I counted 18 different sniper rifles that i all have been unlocked. It has its fair share of bugs, and there aren't a whole lot of missions. Those are my only complaints but they're not big ones. Some of the bugs are pretty funny (don't need to hide the body when it launches itself into orbit), and the missions have good challenges that require you to replay them, which is not only fun to do, they're true to that spirit, challenging, to complete. The game overall is so damn fun, I went ahead and bought the sequel- and it wasn't even on sale.
