Smell Of Death

https://youtu.be/3ufnUCIQpP0 Smell of Death is a game that trys to accomplish too much and becuase of that it lacks direction. The game has a lot of great ideas but all those ideas shouldn't necessarily fit into one game or at least the same level. WIth that being said, the game is decent at this point with the dev making changes and updates regularly. It also sales itself as a horror game which is kind of true. However, the atmosphere and all the different variety of monsters constantly running toward you make it feel more like a carnival fun house experience. There are some jump scares but other than that it is not scary at all. The game also still has a lot of bugs but considering the dev is active it's not much of an issue. There are many areas of the room that are unfinished and you can see around the walls to the outside. This is one of those games that needs something other than a thumbs up or down button. Overall, the game is enjoyable but just still needs a lot of work. Because I enjoyed it, I will give it a thumbs up.

I've always kind of wanted zombies to be real, this is as close to real thing as it gets. Graphics are quite realistic, it's like being inside Resident Evil. I haven't gotten too far, but it has simple puzzles (find keys, ammo, items ..etc) and not just zombies, but also some weird scary things jumping at you and there are stupid clowns!! You can either slash them with melee or use a pistol, equipped with laser sight. I really love the running feature, unlike most of the other VR games where you just teleport, you have to actually move your hands in a way you'd be running, that moves you forward (hold d-pad down and then move hands). Only thing that ruins the experience, is those stupid VR headset cables!! I keep getting tangled in them and it just pulls your focus off the game, other than that, it can scare the nutz out of you. so warning to all the weak hearted people, you might end up fainting xD no for real, this game gives you epic horror / zombie experience. Note - as it's in early stage, there are still some bugs, such as SteamVR menu messing up graphics (so don't use it while playing, use the in-game pause instead), when picking up items, it looks like your pistol shoots ..etc, but nothing big. Game is playable and it's totally worth playing!

I did not know about this game until it popped up on sale at 80% :) if you own a VR headset this is a must own, teleporting is great, it makes a great change when your able to move about the game to escape the walking dead. Atmosphere is amazing, nice graphics and full of jumpscares. It's a nice horror shooter. Monster moves kinda weird but the game is OK. Bought it during a sale and I don't regret it. Haven't been playing a lot thought, just letting friends play to scare them :P

Playing with the oculus rift, could only play it for a few minitues it is that bad , this game has Awful graphics, terrible controls cannot recommend.

Pretty solid game for what it is. Its a bit cheesy and simplistic however it is fun, and it is replayable. Me and my uncle have played it multiple times over the past few months and can always find something new to like.
