Very Short, Still Unbalanced
If I had to sum up this game in one phrase... it would be IGNs "A little bit of everything for everyone." There’s a wild mismatch and mix of references here, dinosaurs, George W. Bush, 9/11, The Wu-Tang Clan, Beyblade (obviously), your DAD, and there is sure to be so much more. Add in classic game modes like Big Head, Small Head, and a bunch of others that change the difficulty and give some incentive to replay after beating your (30 minute run) and you’ve got a game that’s all over the place in the weirdest way, but in the end, offers very little outside of a good atmosphere. As funny or interesting as it gets, it doesn’t work. Sure, it’s Beyblade: fun, quick, and arcade-y. But you can’t help but wonder why certain things haven’t been fixed, since the demo release, like the top that spawns way too many power-ups or the ghost aura (which drains enemy RPM and stacks infinitely, basically letting you win every fight). The meta devolves into using that build or stacking auras with speed reductions (time top), (ghostly) and the tip that increases aura duration, or whatever really, so you just camp the edge with a lightweight build, since trying anything else, especially against heavy tops, just means you’ll lose and go bankrupt, you can even take on the criminal with very little effort and win. While the special game modes like puppy stomping the arena adds a bit of nostalgic charm to any and all of us that grew up with the original Beyblade series, it's lacking that finishing touch. All that said, the soundtrack absolutely slaps. It’s easily the best part of the game. Recommended? Can't say I would say so. I liked it, and for 5 dollars, it matches the 30-1 hour gameplay and optional bonus game modes, like mowing the lawn, adding more obstacles, but really it's you playing the same one overpowered aura stacking power up build, which ruins the chances for it to be better than just okay. i'll be honest, I beat 2 runs in half an hour and I felt like I've seen enough to review. The actual beyblade mechanics are really fun, but the game built around it is not doing it for me
Really simple and "beyblade" inspired game. Graphics give simpler time vibes and the music feels likeable. I have mixed feelings about the gameplay though, you will have to rely almost every battle on skill cubes that spawn randomly in the arena. Especially late game - based on who gets the cube wins. Episodes and modifiers for runs mostly feel balanced. Still gonna hate the 10 sec battles and ♥♥♥♥ you autobattle. Other than that I would say that this game was worth the 5 euros. I recommend this game.
juegazo :v pense que tendria historia mas larga o caminar entre ciudades y torneos pero no xD pero esta genial para pasar el rato
The bones of the game are super cool -- artwork is fun, the battles are way more dynamic than I thought they would be, and the customization of the blade is pretty dope. All the being said, there just isn't any content in the game. I spent 35ish minutes beating the game on my 2nd try and that was it. The game is over after that. I have no idea what the devs are planning to do with the game, but TLDR; The mechanics are cool, there's just nothing to do. I would just play the demo and wait to see if they add any more content.
Le jeu se finit trop rapidement
really fun and interesting game! its alot of fun but man some of the parts just dont explain what they do si ill have parts that just do a thing on screen. there is promise but there needs to be more here, its only 5 dollars so a good time killer but the game as is rn is very surface level
