Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 12 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Wizards are waging war among the skies to conquer a shattered world. Lay claim to your skyshard and build a city full of magical buildings and enchanted weapons!
SkyShard is a fantasy city-building auto-battler where you’ll need to outsmart your opponents by assembling the most powerful city you can. It will take a combination of careful resource management and planning to acquire the right buildings for your town, along with clever positioning of your buildings to unlock surprising and potent effects.
As your town grows, other players will attack with their own skyshards, and you’ll need to survive 16 rounds to win. Sometimes they’ll surprise you with a humbling defeat, but that’s the best way to learn! With asynchronous PVP, there’s absolutely no time pressure. You can take as long as you like to arrange your city perfectly.
Only the wisest wizards can achieve a perfect victory or climb the leaderboard and achieve the rank of Archmage!
In the world of SkyShard, you’ll encounter buildings from a variety of factions, each with their own special abilities, and embracing them all can give you a big advantage.
The Tinker faction uses gnomish technology to make buildings operate at peak efficiency, but it can definitely backfire.
Magic harnesses explosive powers that can deal lots of damage to entire neighborhoods.
Nature is all about gaining health and staying alive, even against the most aggressive enemies.
You’ll encounter even more factions with 170+ unique buildings that have diverse and formidable effects to discover.
We made SkyShard to be a game that puts players first. We’re two meager strategy-gaming YouTubers, ItsBen321 and RegisKillbin, who got tired of games always making decisions that were focused on monetization and forced engagement
So we decided to put our money and time where our mouths are, and make our own game!
We might make some mistakes along the way, this is our first game after all, but we’ll always be around on YouTube and Twitch, listening to players, and working to make the game better and keeping players updated on our thoughts, plans, challenges, and triumphs.
Now you get out there and build an amazing city, while we go and build an awesome game!

Big fan of Regis through YT and wanted to check this game out after watching a few of his run-throughs. There is definitely a learning curve to this game. My frazzled ADD brain is able to pick up on some things quick, but other things take longer to figure out. But there is DEPTH in this game. I've mostly focused on Town, Nature, and Magic units (I've only played two days, guys), but want to branch out to the others already. I am hoping that I don't learn everything there is to know about the game in a week. Also, unlike a certain other game I quit playing, the game length for the runs is long enough that I feel content doing one and then moving on with my day yet engaging enough that I'm making the most of my time playing. Looking forward to the developments of the in-game art and future additions, especially if there are more characters planned down the line!
Played a lot of the demo. Still play a game or two a day. Game is complex, random enough to stay fresh for a long time and most importantly fun. Even though it is an early access it has enough to keep me satisfied and I honestly recommend it.

This auto city battler is a surprisingly addictive mix of strategy, roguelike choices, and chaotic experimentation. You build your army across a tile-based city, then watch your units battle automatically while you plan your next move. each round brings a Roguelike shop where you can choose from different item tiers, creating countless combinations and synergies. With up to 16 rounds and a 200 point life pool!!, every decision matters, one great combo can completely chang the direction of a run. The Best part is discovering unexpected builds and watching them come together. It is easy to learn, but the depth of its unit placement, item choices, and synergies gives it plenty of replay value.!. If you enjoy auto battlers with a roguelike twist, this is definitely worth trying. Once you pop you cant stop lol
As someone who traditionally does not play this genre, SkyShard is very easy to get started with but continues to surprise you with its depth and interesting gameplay. It continues to surprise me with how ridiculously fun & addictive it is to play, and I strongly encourage anyone to try it out. I would buy it for $100 if I could!
I dont normally play games like this often but after putting 8 hours into the demo i figured maybe this would be a game for me and it is gameplay wise but after hour 10 or so i started getting put up against cities that felt like they had choices wildly superior to mine. The last 3 hours out of my 13 hours of playtime have been over 90 percent losses and and just horrendous luck on a lot of choices in game. When i played the demo i didnt have access to every building available so most builds i could make were much easier to get just because of my available choices. In the full game you get a wider variety of choices which means a greater chance of getting screwed over by RNG however before the latest patch i kept seeing the same two to three builds over and over and over and if you dont get a handful of combos possible youre just gonna lose before or around turn ten. Ive been getting more and more frustrated at the game and even after taking a break from it for a few days and coming back after the latest patch ive been having almost the exact same experience. With all that said i still cant put it at a not recommend. The problems im having could be mostly because of skill issue so im going to dive deeper into the game and see if something clicks that im missing. Im glad we have the option of getting play stellar games by indie devs and i dont want to push anyone away from this game with a negative review when i do think it can be a great game and problems i have with it could be just personal preference but i have to air out problems ive been having with this game that might push some people away. Also the game was 15 bucks and i spent 13 hours in it not including my playtime with the demo which initially got me to buy the game. I would say i got my moneys worth even if the last 3 hours i was having a miserable time playing. I plan on playing a bit more to see if maybe my rng changes or i just somehow understand the game more or something that would make experiences in the last three hours less of an issue.
Great game. Took me a little bit of work to start learning how to play the game. Still not great at the game, but its a mellow game and holds my attention. Nice work Ben and Regis!
SkyShard is a fun, low-stress game that rewards the time and thought you put into it. A wide range of units and interesting unit interactions give room for creativity, with many viable strategies to succeed. There are several game modes, including PvP, solo encounters, and special-rule modes. Best of all, there are no microtransactions and no fomo mechanics. As for weaknesses, reorganizing an island can be particularly tedious, though the effort is usually rewarded. Also, there is a lot of game functionality that is hidden, with no real way of knowing those details without being on the Discord (for example, guaranteed weapon shops, items becoming less likely to show in shops depending on your current items, start-of-combat re-triggers on re-summon, start-of-combat order algorithm, etc). That said, feel free to join the Discord; the people there are friendly and helpful. After many hours of play, I have certainly gotten my money's worth, and I'm still having fun. It is incredibly satisfying to see a strategy come together. If this genre of game sounds fun to you, my guess is you will enjoy SkyShard.
Mechanics are a bit overwhelming but I enjoy the visual cues that help players get better at the game. It's kinda like playing tetris but the pieces are trying to shoot each other at the same time. Can't wait for the full release with full art for all the units and maybe some new heroes too.
Bazaar but with positioning
A very solid auto battler, haven't been able to put it down since playing the demo, very much reminds me of the bazaar and Hearthstone battlegrounds.
