SkyShard: City Battler

I am bad at this game. It is Fun/Interesting enough for me to continue playing it and want to get better

I like the complexity of this game. I am hoping for better animations for the full release. Some minor tweaks and it will be a great game. Hopefully they keep adding units/heroes.

A game that remains feeling surprisingly fresh and varied each time you come back, with gameplay design that makes the whole thing highly playable, but also full of depth for those who want to discover it. I find it just so satisfying to play, seeing your power grow organically through your own knowledge. The first few times you play, you're just throwing out the unit that you think looks the coolest, and it allows you to very organically build up gamesense. Without even realising it, your brain is filing away all the quirks and interactions between your favourite units as you play. You'll naturally keep building up these discoveries as your mastery grows, and just seeing it all come together is so satisfying. That said, this game is an active workplace hazard for anyone currently working from home. Figuring out a new interaction and booting up a run to test your theory (only to blow right through your calendar notifications) is a real risk. Not that that ever happened to me, of course. I am a professional. But hypothetically? Yeah, it’s that dangerous. All jokes aside, this is a new favourite of mine, and I love having it in my rotation.

Very fun game with lots of creative combo's, I hope they keep releasing new updates, its so satisfying thinking of a combo and then finding it in a game.

Not really sure what Im doing, but its very fun so far!

I have played this game since the day it came out. I enjoy it immensely despite having only reached 43 on the leaderboard. My only gripe is that I'd like to see a different balance approach, more aggressive. With it just being Ben and Regis, I am a bit sad that some of the filler units are still around and haven't really been buffed in a meaningful way. I have yet to come across a successful fatigue build that wasn't just mushroom\raff. I love the continuous influx of content, but i have noticed that it is harder to build a successful engine as a result. If the general quality of units was increased, I don't think it would be an issue, it would instead be a benefit that you could get results with multiple builds inside of the different factions.
