Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Reviews
If it weren't for the facial beautification module, I would definitely leave a negative review. The game's horror atmosphere is well crafted, but the combat system is quite lacking. The narrative pace of the game is good, but the script is quite mediocre. When I learned that I had to play through the game for the third time to unlock more endings, I felt utterly disheartened. I only play most games once, because the slight novelty brought by multiple playthroughs is far more unbearable than the boredom of repetitive gameplay. (Of course, there are games worth playing multiple times, but they are rare. This one clearly isn't.) So on top of that, I have to tolerate the fact that the protagonist is actually a character with such an ordinary facial model. Some people say we should respect and tolerate these appearances. Of course, I also believe that in reality, we should respect others, and that's exactly what I've always done. However, it should not appear on the protagonist of the game that I paid for!

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

One of the best installments in the Silent Hill franchise in recent years. Story and tone is perfect very heavy inspiration from Silent Hill 2, focusing more on character psychology and how it shapes the world. The change in setting from modern U.S. to a rural Japanese town in the 1960's is a big change but incredibly welcome, the time frame and setting of a heavily religious rural town directly effects the characters stories and interactions through the social norms and expectations of the time. The game also expands on the combat making it more interactive for the player with things such as heavy attacks, parry, sanity, and limited stamina. However the combat has been criticized for the difficulty and some aspects being incredibly annoying such as the parry mechanic and the dodge.
100% of achievements
------ I completed this game 100% before leaving a review, and nothing is really bad, I never thought I would regret buying a Silent Hill (if you can call it Silent Hill) so much. ----- Pro: -The setting is nice, the locations are mostly nice and well made. -The soundtrack isn't bad, it's worth listening to. -There's the classic troll-with-the-dog ending. ----- Con: -Everything else -Horror atmosphere or in general details related to horror or the feeling of fear tension, a total ZERO, it's a walk in the park with a bat practically -The combat system is the weakest and worst element of the game, I'm sure that the developers didn't really play this game from start to finish to release something like this. -The story is boring, weak, and rambling.
In the end, Hinako doesn't solve anything, she just procrastinates. Ironically, the first ending, where she's high on pills and goes on a rampage, makes the most sense.
-The monster design is meh, I mean, they're monsters that fit into the story's explanation, but they still remain banal?
disfigured dolls armed with knives, representing Himiko's vision of wives, and male monsters trying to kiss the protagonist, and a mangy fox that reminds me of the one in the meme
-The puzzles are ridiculous, few of them too easy except for one due to translation issues, so it's not really difficult, you just can't understand what the text says.
Final conclusion
As a Silent Hill fan, I do not recommend this game, too "soul like" (pardon the term), for those looking for a Silent Hill, but too classic horror for those looking for something innovative, I do not understand who this product is actually aimed at, better Silent Hill Home Coming if you want a more action-packed Silent Hill than usual (and SHHC is terrible, but better than f at this point), or recover other chapters like Origin, Downpour or Shatter Memories, if you are looking for something other than Silent Hill 2 which even today, after years, remains an incredible game in terms of story.
VOTE
4/10

Has a really interesting story and the combat feels good
It's good, the negatives reviews for the combat mechanics are fake, it's lowkey annoying but yeah
