Had to Restart the game after the first launch to look and perform as expected. Not sure why, but initial launch looked and performed like garbage. Huge recommendation: if you got headphones that support dolby atmos, make sure you have the dolby windows app installed and the immersive sound is turned on in sound settings for your device. Between the graphics and the sound updates using some noise canceling/immersive supported headphones, made a huge impact on game grabbing attention in a positive way. Is this game fun, mysterious, and do I overall recommend? yep. Is the main story about a girls be coming of age, unfair gender roles, frustration about not controlling her own choices that makes life miserable, and is then wrapped inside an outer blanket of horror puzzle game, *sigh*… also yes. reviews "This game isn't woke!" lol… Brothers/Sisters in gaming, the main plot is about female gender roles, and how aspects should be seen as unacceptable and is restrictive to personal choice. It doesn't make it a bad game, but don't be ignorant. Journal entries: "One day, I was told by a girl that I couldn't play house with the other girls because I also hung out with the boys" "Kids of the era tend to look down on the other sex.." "Even still, Shu never stopped treating me like his equal, regardless of my gender" "I used to think it was just my dad who was like this, but after listening to all the married woman around here complain, every man seems just as bad. All their husbands are just as short tempered, just as violent, just as useless, and do just as little to help out their wives." Random Radio audio "A good woman needs to treat her man". Random Comic on the table "Step back girls! This calls for a REAL Showa man!" Dialog of Rinko to Hinako "When you speak to Shu, you talk like a man" "I will even give him what I have fiercely protected my whole life--my will to make my own choices. From now on, I will let him decide everything for me and simply do as he says. This is what… happiness… means… to… me…" Hinako herself "women get treated no differently than animals…" etc, etc, are you annoyed yet? Because if so, you might not want to play, anyways, we get it. Now, is it a captivating interactive story overall that makes you feel for the main character? I believe so. You can agree or disagree with the agenda, that's a different story, but to say it doesn't exist, is a lie, it's the entire story. Listen, there are some good Lifetime channel movies, but it is definitely one. At first, I was doubting I was going to like this, but starting around 3rd hour or so, I had a change of mind. I did like going from the small town, to Hinako's dream world and back and forth. I liked the two different atmospheres, and I think they were visually designed well. Overall the game is "creepy" not scary. But I will say, got me a couple times on some really good jump scares. Towards the end you get more skills sets to defeat enemies, and I was kind of digging beating the crap out of the monsters you use to struggle with/run from. I also liked that you could level up your attributes as well. Nit-picks: When she runs, you can hear her breathing hard, yet her characters face is stone walled. I believe a little animation could've went a long way. It's weird hearing her huff and puff and seeing character's face placid. That is small example, but the entire game character lacks little things that all come together. The map's scenery is well designed but heavily invis-walled, and you can't jump or crouch. Meaning simple things such as clothes lines that you should be able to move through, block you or even a patch of grass on side of path. The world could've been more realistic and interactive. There are bottles and décor everywhere, yet you can only interact with so little. Basically the pathing, what they allow you to go on, and any and all interactions of objects is extremely limited. I didn't love the puzzles in this one. They were sufficient, but some of them were just confusing or too easy. I feel like there is a good inbetween that wasn't hit as much. I think the combat was fine. Tldr; Got this half off on sale, it's not my favorite story or will be in my top w.e, but it is well done enough that I think it's worth a playthrough if you like horror with puzzles. I think the silent hill games are good, and I would rather see them supported then not at all. I do wish this one was way less preachy and had a story that focused less on gender equality and more on an actual story of the person you are playing. side note: played on steam controller, and worked great.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I'm enamoured, even though it is not Silent Hill - it is it's own thing with a different kind of fog. Try it. P.S.: And talking about the elephant in the room - I truly liked, that the story is feministic to the core, and yet it is not woke. It is not demonizing anyone, but depicts how archaic social roles can twist relationships between men and women,
After 63 hours of playing through Silent Hill f over and over to get every ending...this game is incredible. Firstly, the combat. I understand that this flavor of combat is not for everyone, but holy ♥♥♥♥ it is actually incredibly fun to play with. The controls are responsive, even with the computer I have that I think is a bit under the requirements suggested for the game, and while the combat is fun, its also very challenging. The resource management element of survival horror games is well executed through the items you find throughout the game and the durabililty system of the weapons. And, if you are someone who has trouble with parrying systems in games, this game does have methods to extend that parry window for a long time. If you pick up the game, at least read through the ingame tutorials, since that's where I've seen a lot of people miss the ability to extend that parry window. Secondly, the game is ACTUALLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SCARY. The atmosphere is well executed, the enemies are well designed in a disturbing way, and there are a small but not inconsequential number of actually good jumpscares that made my heart pump like a beating drum. (Though I would recommend if you try to play on minimum settings, at least see if it will run okay with better shadows cause minimum shadows does take away from the atmosphere). I really enjoyed the kind of horror this game was going for, and I think the developers nailed the 'finding beauty in the horrific' concept very well. And lastly...the story...this is one of the best stories I've experienced in a long time. I cannot say much without spoiling it, but it is amazing. Hinako has taken the spot of my favorite survival horror protagonist (sorry Elster :( ), and all of these characters in this game are so well executed and make me want to jostle them from how much I adore them. The only thing I can suggest for the story is to at *least* make an attempt to play through the new game plus stuff before going to look up the other endings. But if you only play through the game once, that is fine, because even just that first playthrough is incredible. 10/10, Ryukishi you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ killed it.
Crazy Story, fighting is alright but the story is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ banger
Strongly recommend it for the story!
