Shoot Trip Die is a psychedelic, arcade, rogue-like romp! Finger blast your way through dozens of levels mowing down strange monsters and collecting even weirder items, all to get back to your pissed stained mattress! It's got Kick! It's got Bite! And It'll Mess. You. Up! You got what it takes?...

If you ever thought "man the binding of isaac would be so much better if it was even less mature (if you dare imagine such a game)" then I'd say that this game is for you. I really like the newgrounds charm, but the "drugs/sex funny" stuff starts trying my patience after a while. It's perfectly servicable, I like how the controls feel, I like the music, and again, while sometimes feeling like it's trying a bit too hard, the juvenile irreverance of the whole thing is something that appeals to me as an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. This game feels like a genuine passion project and I really appreciate that. The lil minigames and the personality in all the UI is really charming. The core loop is solid, but the roguelike elements aren't as developed as you'd hope in something like this, the pool of, just, *things* to find is pretty small; on the other hand, you could say it's easy to get your head around and phrase it as a positive. I mean, I'm not gonna stop you. I would recommend it to fans of the binding of isaac, roguelikes, and that one kind of newgrounds game where you smoke we*d and beat someone up, presumably a minority.
Played the demo on Newgrounds, it was awesome, this is even better- The music's great, Purple Himbius main theme and the Halfway Point theme (as I like to call it) are my favourite songs from the game.

Really short and simple, but really fun rougelike! The bosses are great, and I enjoyed playing it a lot! Not the most complex one, and I did get softlocked in a run (but that's par for the course), but I would highly recommend giving it a try!
tasty

I got this game for free but I hate it
Tough as nails, yet super streamlined and addicting. Never had so much fun being angry at a game before. Plenty of deaths and replaying to be had. <3

Me when I enter The Beebis Edge (it has one of the best songs I've heard in a rougelike):
