About
ShipCrafter is a naval sandbox combat simulator. Build you ship, unlock new parts, and defeat increasingly powerful foes !
Challenge adversaries in the campaign and liberate europe, or battle your own creations in the custom battle mode, and try to come up with the most efficient and original design.

We are making a game with accurate physics. As such we implemented a realtime buoyancy system based on weight and submerged volume. The ship density and center of mass is displayed in editor, allowing to fine tune your ship and even make submarines using ballasts !
Weaponery physics were particularly cared for as well, with fully simulated shell trajectories considering air pressure, changes in density through the atmosphere, and the influence of speed on shells drag value. Penetration calculations are based on armor thickness, angle of incidence, bounce probability, and shell speed and mass.
Realtime buoyancy simulation even considering ocean waves.
Various armor thicknesses and accurate penetration calculation based on speed, mass and angle of incidence.
Realistic ballistic trajectories even considering changes in the air pressure with altitude. Speeds and distances are however reduced to increase the nervosity of combats (in reality it would take more than a minute to hit a target at 20km).
Adjustable ballasts for submarine designs.
Physics based damages instead of healthbars. Turrets and engines will also lose performance if hit.
Weather system and day cycles, including changes in ocean waves amplitude and rain.
Campaign with more than 50 missions.
More than 20 different ships to defeat.
Custom battle editor, including weather, time of day selection, and bots vs bots naval battles.
Manual and automatic control mode for weaponery.
Realtime fluid simulation (experimental).
Visit your ship in first person view.
Steam Workshop supported.
Raytracing renderer to generate your most beautiful screenshots !
Officially supported modding.
Battleships, cruisers, submarines : this game already supports the steam workshop ! You can share your creations with the community and download other people's ships this way !

A sandbox mode is available in game ! Play with up to 10 people, and enable or disable damage to fight naval battles or simply to show off your ships to others.
You can now create your own scene in ShipCrafter, allowing to modify the sun orientation, add fog and generate screenshots with outstanding quality thanks to raytracing.

Join the discord to post your creations or simply talk about WWII ships and connect with the community !

I'm genuinely hooked, learning the building system didn't take too long (also not really hard like some other similar games), and once you got the hang of it, you can create any ship you can dream of. The campaign missions are fun with interesting progression, and the water physics are good (ships lists and sink in a very nice, realistic fashion and they react to the waves well). I must say I've never been this impressed by a crafting game, so highly recommended. Regarding the wave simulation, it could be even better if the waves can be tuned up a bit further in bad weather scenarios, other than that I'm happy with the game!
This game is pretty darn good. Simple and easy to get into and a variety of mission types, unlike other ship-making games I'm aware of. If you're looking for complexity and being able to make perfect recreations this isn't the game for you though. While there is a campaign don't expect there to be a tech tree or the like. New stuff is automatically available to add to your arsenal upon completing certain missions, not through some kind of elaborate tech tree.

Very fun with having somewhat of a learning curve. A good way to pass the time and come up with new ways to destroy enemy ships! 100% WOULD RECOMMEND GETTING!
It's ok
Silly boat game
it is very fun to blow stuff up
its a pretty cool and fun game, but theres barely anything else to do after playing for 2 days
It's fun but it's hard to make clean hulls so I have to download. Also it lags REALLY bad.
This game is not only super fun it runs on ANYTHING (yes i know, my laptop is cr*p)
다 좋은데 메모리 누수가 심한 듯 하다 보면 게임이 뻗어버림. 게임성은 좋으니 최적화가 절실하다.
