About
shapez is a low-stakes factory building game all about the automation of shapes production. Extract basic shapes with miners, cut them into segments and combine them into brand-new, unique shapes. Stack multiple layers of different shapes on top of each other & deliver them to the HUB to advance!
As you progress, new buildings are unlocked and the required shapes become more complex. Extract paint and use them to color your shapes. Spread out across the infinite sandbox to acquire different shapes and increase your production.
Leverage copy-paste tools to massively expand your factory as demand increases and shapes get more complex. Mix paint to create new colors, stack many layers of shapes and increase throughput as necessary. After all, it’s not an idle game!
Get creative with optional wiring & logic to optimize your factory to your liking and maybe even make a powerful machine that can make every shape possible.
With no enemies, timers or resource limits to worry about, shapez is a game that allows you to take on factory building at your own pace while progressively tackling more complex levels, if you’re looking for a challenge.

I like this game because its like the ultimate tinker and watch your creation work, Simple enough to not need tutorials but as complex as you want it to be. Highly recommend.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Jul 20 → 5.83/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

不错的游戏,使我在入睡时还在思考布线
There are many things that I would enjoy exponentially more if it wasn't for just that one thing that's always there because that's just the way it is; in rogueish deckbuilders, it's the lack of floating defense; in 18XX games, it's the stock market; and in factory games, it's managing the economy. In Shapez, there is no economy. That's not to say that I wouldn't enjoy it if it was present, but I would definitely enjoy it far less. You see, I'm no good at these games and it takes a while for me to figure out how to do things and even longer to figure out how to do them better. When I have to worry about income, I can't experiment and put wild and crazy ideas to the test and nothing sucks more than just having to sit there and wait for your wallet to fatten up just to execute an idea that may or may not be correct. Some of these games even have you getting attacked from time to time as an extra layer of busywork for you to worry about and this falls more into the "things I'll tolerate" bucket just so I can enjoy the assembly side of things. Shapez does away with all of that and just lets you figure out how best to go about delivering the goods without having to worry about paying for it. So then how is progress measured? By simply delivering a number of specific shapes to your central hub and while you start with 100s, you'll eventually be requested to deliver thousands upon thousands as shapes get more complex and more tools become available. On the very surface, the hub will request one specific shape and how you go about getting it there is up to you. However, your speed and efficiency are greatly increased with upgrades that require a whole bundle of different shapes that build off of what you've already been delivering. And as you level up, more tools will be made available to you to make even more complex stuff and if you are so inclined, you can spend hours tearing stuff down and redoing it to save space and drive efficiency; now that you can make one, how do you make more and in volume so that you can make steady progress instead of waiting hours to complete your objective? Admittedly, I've barely scratched the surface as of writing this review, but given that the Summer Sale is on and this is pocket change for most people, if you've ever considered giving a factory game a try, I strongly suggest jumping in here. If it bites you, you'll be dropping tons of time into it without noticing it.
