About
Shape of Dreams is an action roguelite that blends hack-and-slash combat, MOBA-inspired team play, and strategic decision-making.
Journey through surreal dreamscapes, dodge swarming enemies, and break through each encounter with precise skill shots and quick decisions.
Play solo for tense, skill-based challenges, or team up in up to 4-player co-op, where different combat styles come together to create powerful synergies. Combine ever-changing skills and upgrades to carve your own path of progression, and face the dream world in a new way every run.
No two challenges are the same, and no single fixed build or strategy will always carry you to victory.

From swift close-range assaults and precise skill shots to wide-area attacks and supportive playstyles, each Traveler approaches combat differently.
Build around your chosen Traveler’s combat style and face enemies in a new way with every run.

When playing solo, dodge incoming attacks, land your skills with precision, and shape your build through the choices you make.
In up to 4-player co-op, combat becomes even more dynamic. When different Travelers’ abilities and builds come together, powerful combinations and explosive synergies emerge—ones that could never be created alone.

Use ever-changing choices to alter your attacks, enhance your abilities, and discover unexpected combinations. Even with the same Traveler, the build you create can lead to a completely different combat style.
There is no single answer.
Build your strategy from the options offered in each run, and take on challenges that may seem impossible.

The dream world is filled with new choices and variables every time you play. Four difficulty levels, distinctive boss encounters, and Lucid Dream modifiers demand different tactics and build decisions with each run.
Rather than follow a familiar path, try new combinations that match each changing situation. The more you play, the more powerful strategies you will discover as you break through the dream world in your own way.
The dream awaits.
8 playable Travelers with unique combat mechanics and upgrade paths
150+ Memories and Essences to customize builds and transform abilities
9 Lucid Dreams to twist difficulty in unique ways
50+ emotes & emblems to personalize your Traveler
8 worlds with handcrafted bosses, monsters, and secrets

The game is great, controls and skills work wonderfully. Unfortunately, very grindy game. You need to play dozens of hours to unlock metaprogress. Some achievements to unlock skills or characters are just simply impossible for me, for a person with bad reflexes xD. And boss fights are just too much spam on the screen, bosses floods you with spells and attacks. This again, for me was a little bit too much to dodge.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Incredible game, a perfect mix of choosing your own challenge that encourages you to break the game. Brilliant solo and even better in co-op. And they keep adding more ~Awesome~ content to the game! For Free. If this game at all sounds like something you'd be interested in, I guarantee it'll exceed your expectations. Even your craziest builds will still require skilled gameplay to make it all the way through a run.
Had a lot of fun with the builds and characters. Gameplay was close to a Diablo rogue lite with Dota2/MOBA elements, and I had a blast with it.
가격대비 재미도 있고 정식출시하고 개선된 점이 많아서 좋음
Macht absolut süchtig.
This game surprised me. I got it earlier this week just to try it out, see if I wanted to keep it. Well now I have almost 60 hours in the game and I'm not even close to getting bored. The characters are fun, the enemies and worlds are interesting, and the bosses are really cool. The only downside to the game is that it has flown under my radar for so long.
I'm a gamedev myself, and that's the only review you need
Idea/Highlights 7/10

- Spell system. You have 4 abilities and 3 stones for each. Stones are various improvements, such as “launch sparks on ability cast that deal magic damage.” You can freely reorder abilities and stones. This system lets you build around almost anything and gives you room for experimentation. On top, you have character building (metaprogression) - Character building. You have a constellation with different slots (attack, health, etc.). In these slots, you can put the upgrades you want, which creates a building system. Simple, but good. Additionally, you can choose unique starting abilities and a passive. I especially like it's UI. - Visuals. They are absolutely marvelous. I especially like the background (the non-playable space behind the islands you play on). It's very detailed and atmospheric.
Gameplay 7/10

I played mostly in duo, and I think it really shines in co-op. It gives you a planning layer for your journey because you can share abilities/stones and currencies. So you have to decide who gets what and talk a lot for an optimal run, which is fun. Overall, gameplay is not unique. You select the next location, clear it, loot it, and repeat. There are different areas, locations, and so on. The loop is very straightforward and you are very likely familiar with it. In here loop is done well, abilities are fun so definitely a worthy one in the genre. Most of the time you experiment with builds or unlock stuff.
Progression 7/10

- There are a lot of unlockables (characters, character abilities, game modifiers, spells, and stones), so there is plenty to unlock. - On top you can level characters up to their max levels - Finish the game on the highest difficulty - Achievments and unlockables Not enough? Try to get all cosmetics So despite many things being a bit grindy, devs definitely gave players enough goals to last for at least 100 hours, which is amazing. The way you see the game also changes after a while. As you unlock more spells/abilities/levels, you get access to way stronger builds, which is good.
Replayability 8/10

I would say it makes a very strong first impression thanks to its systems and visuals. It may start becoming a bit repetitive at the 20-hour mark, but this heavily depends on what type of player you are. For me, it started becoming boring because there was no real difference in gameplay, few synergies between abilities, little randomness (you can almost always build exactly what you want), and the strongest build is easy to make:
You just take 1 ability and pump it to max. Maybe you take 2 abilities or ability + passive. Anyway, it's usually not worth building multiple abilities. And all experimentation comes down to: what if I max out this ability?

Overall rating 29/40 (7/10)

It's a good game. Not everybody would play it for hundreds of hours, but almost everybody would enjoy it for ~20 hours, which is a good sign for me I would repeat myself. Visuals are gorgeous. :D So it's definitely worth trying out!
