Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Jul 23 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
This game is so horribly optimized I''m playing a slideshow at 3fps. I don't have the world's best system, but the likes of Helldivers 2, COD, Arma, Ace Combat 7, and DCS, all far more graphically intense games, easily break 60fps. My mouse doesn't even move on the menus- it teleports due to the low frame rate.
wasted potential simulator

The biggest thing that holds this game back in its current state is the lack of consequence in relation to crime. As some other reviews have stated: you can go out of your way and ransack a home after beating its occupants, avoid detection through a short timer, and then get away free. What needs to be done is simply punish players who choose crime. There are lots of detractors on this issue who will look you in the eye and say, "well just don't do criminal stuff" but that's a lousy excuse for a ingame mechanic that is sorely lacking. It really is the biggest issue holding everything back. NPCs could also use some work. They are relatively lifeless and could use more interactions. With all of this being said, I still recommend this game, as it is very impressive what they are trying to do here. There is really no game that does it, and for that reason I still recommend trying it. You can squeeze out about 25 hours before you start to see its flaws, and you can still power through, but if the developer really wants the game to have a loyal playerbase, they need to address consequence with crime.
вы же точно хотели сделать хорошую игру? вроде старались сначала..
i was in the same apartment when a murder happened and the killer was neither person in the apartment at the time. I hope case generation can be improved in the future, but as it stands, I think it's clear why immersive sims are often tailored and designed and not RNG
Clunky controls hold this game back massively, it reads like it could be fun on the surface but once you get into it there are awkward menus to navigate. a really strange AI that seemed to find me no matter where I cam out of vents and a really uncomfortable combat system. This experience is even worse on controller with half the pieces of evidence I collected disappearing after it had been pinned to my board. I would not buy unless it's substantially discounted, I have been sorely disappointed.
I want to love this game, the ideas behind it are great, and at it's best it's a lot of fun, and there's nothing else like it. Unfortunately this game is a technical trainwreck: - The biggest problem is the bugs. This game frequently doesn't work as it's supposed to. Quest items don't spawn (or fall through the level or something), searching for people you already have detailed info on shows no results, you progress through a case only for it to fail to load the next stage, your city generates without a sync clinic, the list goes on. - The evidence that cases start with doesn't seem to be doled out with any consideration as to how useful that evidence is. For example a name, address, or phone number is very useful information, but someone's height or shoe size is not very useful. Sometimes the cases are generated with evidence that is near impossible to follow up on, like someone's build, height, and blood type. - The game does a poor job of communicating how core mechanics work (arrests and briefcases, for example), so don't feel bad about referring back to the forums when things aren't clear. - The performance is awful. On this laptop it's basically unplayable (mostly because the lag causes inputs to get stuck), but even on competent gaming machines there are frequent hiccoughs and stutters. For what the game is, this is surprising and annoying. These are things you would expect to be addressed when moving to a full release, but it seems this game never got past these problems.
