Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.43/day in the week to Jul 23 → 5.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Shadows of Doubt is set in an alternate reality in the hyper-industrialized 1980s. Think like a detective and use a variety of gadgets as a private intelligence investigator, gathering evidence and making money by solving cases, finding and selling information and more.
Play your own way in a fully simulated world with hundreds of citizens. Discover, meet and tail individual citizens, each with their own name, job, apartment and daily routine, in unique, procedurally-generated cities. Each case has different culprits, clues and experiences for you to test your investigative skills.
Explore anywhere in the city! Every nook of every trashy bar, every place of work, every seedy hotel room… This dystopia is your oyster. Break into apartments, rifle through secret documents or hack security systems - even a discarded receipt can be the key to cracking a case. Trace the receipt back to an individual location, scour CCTV footage and match the time up to the receipt to find out who it belonged to!
The entire world is fully simulated. Each citizen has an apartment, job, daily routine, favorite things to do, places to go, and people to interact with. They live out their lives independently, in a world that moves on with or without you— uncover this knowledge and use it to your advantage!
Become a private investigator in a truly unique detective experience. Think like a detective to solve the cases around you: check call histories, find passwords, read private emails, speak to persons of interest, watch CCTV footage and more to retrieve evidence and build your case. Reviews
Eu com certeza recomendo Shadows of Doubt.

Pros: It's fun to investigate, follow clues and getting to know the citizens. Cool world setting. Cons: Call me bad but I didn't solve anything but the tutorial mission. This game is frustrating as hell. My case boards are filled with hundreds of clues but not even one that says "I MAKE SENSE. YOU FOUND ME, NOW YOU CAN SOLVE IT!" The timing how the cases appear is confusing af. I have a case to find a murderer but no starting point. After 30h+ I can say. I don't want to play anymore...
i love this game a lot, but i also hate it. The vibe, the visuals, i love the world the developers created here and I was super excited to see the progress they'd make during this game's early access. The gameplay is rough, a lot of the time theres no clear way to proceed with a case or in some cases it'll just straight up be impossible because of something entirely out of the player's control. But I figured over time It'd get more polished and be improved upon. Only problem is, they didnt. Instead of fixing the INCREDIBLY bad performance of this game, the awkward gameplay or the comically large list of bugs, pretty much all they've done as of late has been giving us modding support and taking the game out of early access. Now I dont like it when games rely on modders to make the game playable/enjoyable, but its better than just leaving the game to rot. But the problem I have with them adding modding support, is that the modding support they've given is so half assed that you can barely change anything. You can only change a small selection of things within the game, so anything which would actually add real substance or help with the performance issues of the game aren't even possible. So because of that theres little to no mods for this game. They did add the modifiers which are kind of fun, but come on man, we've been waiting for SO LONG for an actually meaningful update just to get some modifiers and THATS IT. Other than that until the modding support update it was just radio silence and the occasional small bug fix. I pray that the devs haven't abandoned this game yet, because I do truly still think that this game has an amazing framework to build an incredible noir detective style game out of, but I bought this game for full price and I can tell you that for a game in this state, it is not worth the money. You can get much better games for much cheaper.

Absolutely not, dreadful to play. Runs like utter garbage and even with the tutorial it is quite hard to find out what youøre supposed to be doing most of the time. Love the concept and if it was to get more love and optimization MAYBE there's a good game hidden somewhere underneath but in its current state it isnt even worth grabbing on sale...
sadly still a buggy and unoptimized game that for some illogical reason does not have a basic autosave feature
Voxelslop that runs at 30fps outside and stutters indoors
Jeu beaucoup trop punitif.
This would probably be one of my favorite games of all time if they actually bothered to finish it. I would say the game is like only 40-60% complete in my opinion. Still the game is great though. I have genuinely never been so engaged and creative in a game before, and the world building and atmosphere is just amazing. Also I just love like Columbo and Marlow and stuff like that and it feels like no game has even really tried to scratch that itch There's a decent amount of mods that add custom made cities (Nothing amazing but it is more organized and aesthetic) and mods that add some new stuff and rebalance some other things that fix some of the issues with the game I have.
