Engrossing story and world building

Juego de estrategia isométrico clásico para pc que actualizó en su día las primitivas adaptaciones que se hicieron en la SNES y en SEGA Genesis de Shadowrun, dando un nuevo lavado de cara con gráficos, mecánicas y menús más accesibles y efectivos. La narrativa es muy buena y la ambientación obviamente también, de hecho diría que es el punto más fuerte de esta obra de culto que mezcla fantasía y ciencia ficción en entornos urbanos decadentes o en sedes de corporaciones multimillonarias. Eso sí, se echa en falta una mayor interacción y posibilidades de explorar el mapa, en eso se siente bastante limitado y lineal, la verdad. Al jugarlo los títulos que me han venido a la mente curiosamente no se corresponden con el cyberpunk. Me ha recordado a mis partidas del Fallout 1 y a Baldurs Gate, sobretodo con la estética y la presentación de algunos personajes y también por los caminos que va recorriendo la trama en su desarrollo al ir mezclando distintos asuntos o metiendo misiones secundarias de vez en cuando. Es un rol que siempre engancha, apenas ha envejecido. The narrative is very good, and so is the setting. In fact, I'd say it's the strongest point of this cult classic, which blends fantasy and science fiction in decaying urban environments or the headquarters of multimillion-dollar corporations. However, it lacks greater interaction and possibilities to explore the map; in that sense, it feels quite limited and linear. When playing it, the titles that came to mind, curiously, don't correspond to cyberpunk. It reminded me of my games of Fallout 1 and Baldurs Gate, especially with the aesthetics and presentation of some characters, and also because of the paths the plot takes as it unfolds, mixing different themes or occasionally adding side quests. It's an RPG that always engages; it's barely aged.
