About
Disclaimer: This game does NOT have deep simulation like Dwarf Fortress or Rimworld. It's similar, but the simulated elements are very simple in comparison. It's a survival settlement-builder with the goal of "beating" an individual world in 8-12 hours of gameplay.
Manage your ever-growing settlement! Use the resources at your disposal to build structures necessary for survival. Research new structures with a variety of functionalities. When resources grow scarce, explore your surroundings for more. Encounter other settlements and deal with them using diplomacy or hostility.
Collect resources to build new structures and keep your settlers alive. Resource management is essential for a thriving settlement.
Use resources to build structures with a variety of uses.
Clear away the unknown to discover more resources and and other settlements in a procedural world.
Use Influence to recruit new settlers to your cause. Larger populations can produce more resources, but need more food, medicine, and housing to survive.
Research new structures from a large tech tree.
Interact with other settlements in a variety of ways. Figure out a way to deal with them without losing your settlers- or your settlement- in the process.

Hmm . It is almost a good game, would have benefitted from EA period. I think its good to say its more wide then deep. The path of progres are quite simple as you need iron bars to make the next tier buildings etc . Influnce is fits well but becomes bloated as just need more. The refiment system is nice but seems to be just better? One big thing is the lack of hotkeys? You have the building menu but cant scroll the different categories? Look at Factorio tool bar for hints? Then "pipette" tool would be good to have like from anno / factorio? Mouse click 3 on exsting building to copy it. Diplomacy and war seems quite barebones and the request & demand spam is quite annoing. For the price point it is not horrible, the loop seems to be just bit long as you wait for some reasouce to get to next building etc. Better buildings are just bigger etc.
nah - tons of balance issues. challenges are identical every run - same town sizes, etc. You basically have ot make the same picks in the same order every time for the first year - or you die. No matter what. Also, if you pause to the menu before you place your first building, your soft locked and can't continue? lol Skip this vibe-coded nonsense.

This game is genuinely fantastic I am not sure what the other reviews are talking about saying it lacks depth or it has bugs. I think most of that is people not understanding what the resources break out into or something else but the game has had 0 issues with bugs and so far into my run I have only gotten into tier 6 with just under 4 hours. For the price I think this game has a fantastic 8-12 hour loop you can replay a few times and at this price that's excellent value! Definitely a newish twist to the colony sim genre and how you grow/decide to grow is great. Meant to play for only an hour or so and here I am almost 4 hours later
Took about 10 hours to get to Tier 10 and clear up the map (not sure why Steam isn't reporting playtime right). Had a good time of it! It's not DF or Rimworld, but it's also not trying to be. It's a charming semi-incremental citybuilder meant to take about ten hours to play through, and it succeeds imo. I would say that the first 30 minutes were much harder than the rest of the game because there's a lot thrown at you all at once when you hit 5 settlers, but then the difficulty goes down once you figure out the intended gameplay loop and can chill at 10x and just focus on making a nice little city and painting the map.
So much fun! Very akin to Rimworld. Scratched an itch I didn't know I had <3 Love this!
Fun game. Pretty challenging. Will play this for a long time I think. Addicting already.
Nice little game.
