Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 342.29/day in the week to Jul 18 → 4.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

With the dual stick controls, each stick represents one of your feet. You will need to learn how to control them and transfer weight, just like on a real skateboard. The physics have been developed with a focus on realism, smoothness and immersion. Just like in real life for a new skateboarder, the first hours can seem challenging, but once you have mastered the technique, you will feel the unrivalled thrill of pulling off your very first kickflip! Session: Skate Sim also includes full options customisation, so you can enjoy the perfect experience tailored to you. A full tutorial provides all the help you need to get started, and you can choose from four difficulty levels!

Inspired by the golden age of street skating – the 1990s – Session: Skate Sim lets you experience true skateboarding and its culture: no scoring system; just you, your spot and your imagination! There's no need for judges to tell you that your noseslide or varial heelflip are perfect for this spot. And because certain locations are iconic, the developers have added several of them to the game for you to skate in and express your creativity, including Black Hubbas (New York City), Brooklyn banks (New York City), FDR Park (Philadelphia) and many other spots.

Skating and pulling off the best lines in the best spots is one thing, but if no one is there to film it, it didn't really happen… In Session: Skate Sim, you can film with a 1990s filter or fisheye lens, and you can use the video editor to create your clips and share them. You can play with multiple options, including changing the field of view, time of day, filters, and different camera views (tripod, orbit, etc.). Session: Skate Sim also offers the chance to go from skater to filmmaker: pull off your moves then go into film mode to experience the action from the point of view of your camera operator and create the best clip.

Show off your style with an extensive customisation system for your skater and skateboard. By completing challenges, you earn money to spend in skate shops. You can find nearly 200 items (hoodies, shoes, caps, T-shirts, trousers, etc.) from top brands, such as Fallen, Zero, GrindKing, Thankyou, HIJINX Net, Antilanta, Roger Skate CO, No-Comply, iDabble and others. You can also customise your skateboard with over 250 parts, such as wheels, trucks and many other components from famous brands like, No-Comply, GindKing, Thankyou and many others. In addition to the design aspect, the components (trucks, riser pads, wheels…) impact the way you skate. Find the right ones for your style and shred the most iconic spots!

When I first got the game back on release, it had so much potential. The control system was really innovative and the grab system was promising, it looked great! It just needed to fix a few shortcomings. Just needed better goofy animations. Just needed to finish the grabs system. Just needed better vert physics. And then a publisher came in. And then a lot of devs got let go. And then the discord got nuked and locked. And then there came a long progression of DLC, while all those features that were needed just didn't happen. This is still fundamentally the game I bought in early access in 2019, mostly, and all the remaining devs are being let go while they wind the studio up. That potential was squandered. The game is funamentally unfinished, and now it's been abandoned. There's the bones of a good game there, there's the essence of a good game there. If you're interested in the idea of spending an hour or so trying to hit a difficult railslide perfectly without all the bruises, it's still good... But that's about all there is.
Nails what it feels like to try just to land a boardslide or crook irl: hard as balls. Hands down the best skating game in active dev rn. I know they've said they're moving away from multiplayer, but I would happily pay whatever passes for "AAA" prices just for the ability to load in with 1 friend and free skate. Session big yes. skate big no.
The game is exactly what I wanted for a skate simulator. Not too difficult, but challenging enough to feel rewarding. Each trick feels like an accomplishment. The amount of customization in board feel and appearance is everything. The modding community is strong and well diverse. Some of the animations are a little janky and some actions can feel wonky but overall not many problems with gameplay. My only gripe with the game are the missions. Most feel too vague in describing what I need to do, or are way too picky and near impossible. Overall though, the game is amazing and exceeded my expectations. If you liked the arcade flick style and mindless tricks, stick to skate 3. But if you really skate IRL, this game is perfect.
For $12 I'll look the other way on the bugs because this is the most satisfying skate game. The controls took a little bit to get the hang of but once you do, it's amazing. Wish there was multiplayer of some kind or more life to the environments (moving cars, pedestrians, etc). I can see this as the foundation for what could be the best skate series, but for now I'll kick back and virtually skate the winter away.
Восторгов от игры не разделяю. Ждал приемника легендарной серии Skate, получил какую-то кривую поделку. Ужасный интерфейс, графика и общая динамика игры.
