Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Selaco is a brand new original shooter inspired by classics, featuring thrilling action set pieces, destructibility, smart enemies and a fleshed out story taking place within an immersive game world. It draws inspiration heavily from F.E.A.R. in terms of action set pieces, while mixing exploration elements from Half-Life, along with some more modern features.

The story takes place during a violent invasion on Selaco, a massive space station sheltering the last refugees after Earth’s fall just a few years prior. You play as Dawn Collins, an ACE Security Captain who, with her recent promotion and high level security clearances, is digging deep into the truth behind Selaco's murky history. Before she can finish her investigation, Selaco is rocked by explosions and armed invaders.

A lengthy adventure-driven campaign
Selaco offers a massive, uninterrupted journey packed with action and atmosphere. Explore a wide range of environments in a fully connected world - no cutaways, no time jumps, just seamless momentum from start to finish.
Intense Action set pieces
Blast through your environment with impactful weapons that really leave a mark on the world. That once lavish office space, now nothing but a pile of rubble with broken paintings, smashed tables, screen, chairs, smoke, and chunks of debris.
Custom AI
Selaco’s AI was built from the ground up for dynamic, coordinated combat. Enemies communicate, flank, suppress, and adapt to your tactics - keeping pressure when you're aggressive or rushing when you're vulnerable. Hundreds of voiced lines hint at their next move, making every fight feel alive.
Full soundtrack
Selaco features an original, full-length soundtrack composed by Lawrence Steele, with over 3 hours of neon-tinged electronica spanning from high-intensity combat tracks to immersive, atmospheric soundscapes.
Adapt & Overcome
As enemies evolve and gain access to new tools, so do you. Improve your weaponry with new utility upgrades, or transform weapon behavior entirely with Weapon Kits.
Replayability
Selaco is designed with replayability in mind. Jump into Randomizer Mode to experience remixed mechanics, exclusive enemies, and fully customizable chaos. Or test your skills in Incursion Mode (coming later during Early Access), an endless survival challenge set in Deathmatch-style arenas.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Fastpaced shooter that offers quite a challenge at higher difficulty. Liked art/style and the soundtrack - play it loud! The first chapter was already fun to play - looking forward for more...
Fine Art. Thankful to have heard about this game from Mr. Sujano's youtube gamer news show
This game was so insanly fun to play that I´m exited for chapter 2. It really felt well polished while also beeing fair. The grafics have this retro look with pixels and I absolutly love it, it looks great at any point in the game. The game lagged at some pointsin the game, mainly outside, rain or smoke effects but I think at that point it´s the PC to blame. I honestly didn´t mind, low grafics and a smaller window made the game fine to play for me. I wan´t to add at the time of this review that in chapter 2 there are plans to rework some effects and stuff to make the game run better. Music is also nice, nothing too memorable for me but fitting and good. Weapon variety is good and they all feel good to use, there are also upgrade kits to give weapons new attacks or change them in a way wich was really fun to play arround with. There´s also smaller upgrades, some feel a bit meaningless like +1 damage or a gun beeing able to kill enemys without alerting others and I rarly felt like I had the chance to strike first. I think a bigger thing about this game is the enemys getting stronger over time and acting more tactical and honestly it was really fun. Overall the combat feels really good, I played on the second difficulty (Lieutenant) and it was not that hard. Yet you always have to watch out to not get surprised becasue you can die quite quick if not careful. The only thing here I found a bit dissapointing was the final area, it was quite easy and with all the stuff lying arround I expected to get overun by big waves of enemys, even the final room, so many things lying arround and it was over before it even begun. Also with Juggernauts, they´re really not that big of a thread at the end, I think they could use a Thread tier for themself like getting tankier, maybe getting some kind of rocket, something to make multiple of them feel like a major thread. Map desing and secrets are great aswell, I missed quite a few things and I bet I was blind by atleast half of them. Some clever ones, hidden stuff, look carefully, it was fun looking for them. And for the map desing, I just love this future city theme and it was really good in this game too, lots of fun areas. For the map you have an infocard telling you what you have found in this part of the map, locked doors or important items and uncovered secrets. I wish tho there was a bigger map showing what areas connecto to each other (like this map has 3 exits, one was were I came from, the other were to go and the third one was a dead end I had to go for a key item) just for navigating. Speaking of, the map is easy understandable.. And I love for completion that there is fast travel to multiple spots on the map to get stuff you may have missed. The Bonus level, optional to play but really really fun, I honestly hope to see something similar in chapter 2. It was quite more challenging and long with a cool reward. Really much just alot of fun. The game tells you about the point of no return very clearly and you can save before in case of completing some things. And I like the achievements nothing that is too hard or has at least a trick to compleding it. No need to 100% or go through a high difficulty. Edit: Just did the special campain run and honestly it was somewhat refreshing, made some moments really intense, random enemys can make stuff easier or harder, random waves has you always one ear up. The extra ressources make up for more and harder enemys. The only complain I would say is that it´s not that hard to get a good weapon and most of the time the drops are just worse, maybe the stats could get a bit higher and higher towards the end so I may consider more damage over a possibly good modifier. I found a really strong shotgun that carried me through some parts really early so I never had the need to take another one. Also didn´t took that long only another like 8h
I played the demo years ago, and the game left an impression. Someone said it was a combination of F.E.A.R and Doom(original) and that is a perfect description. Despite it's high review score, this IS NOT a game for everyone. If you can dig what the game is trying to do, then it's a good time. But it's not very relaxing and it is un-apologetically 'old school' in many ways.
I love this game, it's so good, it has everything I'd want in a game like this.
Selaco is a tense and chaotic game that always keep you on your toes. Health is scarce and you will constantly have to swap guns to manage ammo while trying to make it out as unscathed as possible. (I played on hard) During encounters, I would be constantly checking all lines of sight for flanking enemies while my vision would get obscured by the environment, enemy and player muzzle flash, and explosives. The artstyle is a fun blend between retro and realistic, pushing GZDoom to its limits. $25 is a bit much for what is currently in the game (version 0.90) so try to get it on sale or in a bundle with something else you already have (i did both and paid less than $16) or wait until chapter 2 comes out. the burgerflipper minigame is pretty peak too
