Secret Files: Sam Peters

This is not a full game, more a short spin-off. Boring and hard. 106 minutes with a guide. (Impossible with no guide: maze enigm ????)

Small, easy, classic.

A mini adventure episode of the Secret Files. I like this kind of P&C adventures. Puzzles are built up logically, as in other Secret Files adventures, too. Look&Feel old-fashioned, but this does not reduce the fun with the puzzles. The story reminded me of the movie "The Relic". Needed just a "few" hours to play. I played 1.5* for both ends as I missed to save inbetween. ;) I bought this game bundled with many others for less than 10€, so no problem for me.

DLC предлагает посетить несколько локаций, решить парочку несложных головоломок и разгадать тайну неизвестных существ (присутствует налёт мистицизма). Не успевает надоесть и забывается после прохождения. Не хорошо и не ужасно. Сносно. 6/10

In this rather short spin-off of Secret Files - Puritas Cordis, you play Sam Peters - I thought the game will finally feature an adventurer similar to Indiana Jones, but no, Sam (Samantha?) Peters is the shapely blonde bimbo the second installment of the series suddenly discarded the same way you leave behind a lover you get fed up with. The devs probably felt bad about the unresolved storyline, so they gave her a show of her own. The game is strangely much less aggravating than Puritas Cordis, probably because it's so much shorter (an awful food is also less painful when served on a small dish). You travel around the world a bit to feel the "grand adventure", solve some tedious inventory puzzles, and before you know it, it's over. There is a binary "ethical choice" in the very end which does not really feel meaningful. We will probably never see Sam Peters again - thanks Papa Legba for that!

Si alguna vez te preguntaste qué pasó con Sam Peters después de ser rescatada en Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis, este spin-off tiene la respuesta: se convirtió en una arqueóloga tan audaz como afortunada, sobreviviendo a erupciones volcánicas y enfrentándose a vampiros de la selva en Ghana. Sí, has leído bien: vampiros de la selva. Secret Files: Sam Peters nos lleva en una corta, pero intrigante, aventura que parte de una leyenda real de los Asambosam. Aunque el juego apenas supera la duración de una película de domingo, la narrativa consigue engancharte lo suficiente como para que no te importe. La historia es fiel al estilo de la serie: misteriosa, llena de rompecabezas lógicos, y con una protagonista que no se detiene ante nada, incluso si tiene que improvisar ante la ausencia de un arqueólogo que se largó sin decir adiós. En cuanto a la jugabilidad, es exactamente lo que esperas de la saga Secret Files: un equilibrio sólido entre la resolución de acertijos y la exploración, sin las interminables charlas que podrían haber hecho más pesada la experiencia. Eso sí, no te acomodes demasiado, porque el juego se termina antes de que puedas decir "Asambosam". Por supuesto, no todo es perfecto. Si pensabas que instalar un juego en 2024 era un proceso sencillo, Secret Files: Sam Peters te hará reconsiderarlo. Un permiso especial aquí, una búsqueda de traducción al castellano allá, y voilà, estás listo para jugar... o algo así. En resumen, Secret Files: Sam Peters es corta, difícil, entretenida, y con un toque de humor. Eso sí, te dejará con ganas de más.

A Secret Files: Sam Peters egy izgalmas kalandjáték, amely tele van rejtélyekkel és felfedezéssel. Az egzotikus afrikai környezet egyedi atmoszférát teremt, amely azonnal magával ragadja a játékost. A történet érdekes és jól megírt, Sam Peters karaktere pedig kifejezetten szerethető és motivált, ami még inkább arra ösztönzi a játékost, hogy végigvigye a történetet. A játék grafikai megvalósítása szép és részletes, különösen a környezet ábrázolása lenyűgöző. Az animációk simák és jól kidolgozottak, ami hozzáad a játék általános élményéhez. A rejtvények kreatívak és kielégítőek, néhány kifejezetten kihívást jelent, de sosem éreztem őket frusztrálónak. Az irányítás egyszerű és intuitív, így könnyen bele lehet merülni a játékba anélkül, hogy az irányítással kellene küszködni. A zenei aláfestés tökéletesen illik a játék hangulatához, és segít még jobban elmélyedni a történetben. Összességében a Secret Files: Sam Peters egy nagyszerű választás azoknak, akik szeretik a kalandjátékokat és a rejtélyeket. A játék izgalmas, jól megírt és gyönyörűen kivitelezett, ami garantáltan élvezetes élményt nyújt.
