About
It’s time to go undercover, alone or up to 4 player co-op. The international crime syndicate S.P.I.D.E.R has taken over your school, operated by evil wizard headmaster Grumblemort! Use your wits to infiltrate the prestigious wizarding academy and explore the area. As you search for clues to his hideout, you’ll find powerful spells, collect very cool and necessary headwear (it’s not a phase!), and duel students.
The castle hides long-forgotten passage ways, powerful mysteries, highly explosive ordnance, outlandish costumes and. . . well, who knows what you'll find? A new wand would be nice.
Being a wizard means this magic stuff comes naturally to you, but you’ve forgotten most of the interesting spells. Luckily, students have left their notes laying around for you to learn from. Duplicate items, transform into props, grow things to immense sizes, or cast Clownify for. . . clown stuff to happen. Or, grab anything off the ground to brew potions that could heal you, make you powerful, remove gravity, or even delete your bones. Everything is a potion. Not everything is a good potion.
Secret Agent Wizard Boy doesn't have guardrails and allows you to play however you want. Follow the main quest to defeat Grumblemort or wreak havoc across the school grounds. If you wish to make your way through the secret dungeons no one is there to stop you, aside from the spiders of course. There are nooks and crannies to explore, there are biscuits to collect, there’s a whole world waiting for you, Wizard Boy.

You need to know Harry Potter to understand the puns in this game. There are also some James Bond references including the crime organization SPIDER seems to be SPECTRE, and a Professor Q's lab. However, HP knowledge is essential, the spell names, common rooms are related, the cookies reminded me of an older HP game where you collected flavor beans. The gameplay is free exploring the castle, trying items (the most useful are jumping pad, mace and the invisible potion) and creating chaos. A bit like Goat Simulator. You can die easily in the first 30 minutes, my advice is to give the game some time. Once you collect 5 tokens for double jump skill, and get to know the items better, the games become more enjoyable. The main puzzle is finding 6 crystals to open a gate in Slytherin common room, and the game ends at that point. If you focus only on it you could finish the game in an hour. However, there is plenty more to explore. At the moment 2 common rooms are available, along with secrets such as rooms behind paintings, gates opened by torches and additional spells. The full price is a little high, but the game is in early access, more content will be added. My curator page
Brekk a leg
I broke mine a couple of times.
HP on crack. Aka explosives. Aka spiders have swords now.
So. I spent one and a half cups of coffee worth of money on this game. It gave me about three cups of coffee worth of fun. And it is extremely early access at this point, so I guess there will be at least nine more cups of coffee worth of fun here. So - totally recommended. Also - amazing technical state for an EA title.
I cannot wait for more of this. This is incredible, and I need just all of it. please! One of the most fun creative and chaotic games I've played, ever. Get it and experience the amazing mayhem that this game inevitably with serve you with. 10/10 cannot recommend enough
Bolsonaro Aprova!
A very fun imsim-adjacent sandbox with as much freedom as you can grab. Spells are ridiculous and game-breaking on purpose and that's just how I like my sorcery-deconstructing satire. Bonus points for using the style of old HP games that are ingrained in my mind since childhood - revisiting and messing with it sometimes feels cathartic, in a sense that this game plays as I wanted those game to play. I've beaten the first EA version some time ago and now I'm patiently waiting for the castle rework. Can't wait to try all the other new stuff as well.
Great demo! Excited for future updates/full release!
