Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 22 → 1.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It plays just like the days when I put in the game disks into my laptop, but now it loads even faster! Don't play it on steam deck though, it's bad on there.
I am unable to play period due to the placement of the open screen that puts it to my top left where i can not drag it down not does Alt Enter work to reposition it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing. same problem

Just a thumb up for now. Always had lots of fun with this, but need to get back into the game befor ei wwant to say much more about it.
Fun game. Art-style is still nice, even though it is getting dated. Still, real nostalgia. Bloom is horribly overblown to the point of being completely broken; do NOT turn on bloom... beaches will dissapear in a smear of bloom. Also, on modern systems, reflections start to flicker. Wish Atari would also have looked into possibly fixing these technological issues with the game in March 2026, when they added Simplified Chinese localization to the game. Was such a nice chance to dig into fixing these issues. Hope they still will in the future. Maybe a remaster would genuindely not be a bad idea; unlocked FPS, improved performance (upgraded renderer?), even further improved planar reflections (using higher quality models), improved anti-aliasing, much improved real-time shadows, SSAO, improved texture quality, slight increase in polygon-count of in-game models etc. All to make sure they adhere to the original vision, but still in improved remastered form. They still have the source code (and hopefully the original art-assets as well), so they could very well do it. With them having released this game for current-gen consoles (except for the Switch 2), I don't see this happening soon, but maybe in a few years.... Think it would be financially viable for them to do that.
This is a fantastic theme park simulation game that takes the classic formula and brings it into a full 3D world. Being able to build, customize, and ride your own roller coasters adds a whole new level of immersion and creativity. The biggest strength is the freedom you have when creating your parks. Designing attractions, managing guests, improving your park, and watching everything come together is incredibly satisfying. The career scenarios offer plenty of variety, while the sandbox mode gives you endless possibilities. The main downside is that some management systems feel a little basic compared to newer simulation games. The controls can also take some time to get used to, and the presentation shows its age in certain areas. Overall, this is a great evolution of the series with a lot of charm and replay value. It may not have the depth of modern park builders, but the creativity and fun of building your own theme park still make it a great experience.
tenho 42 anos e é a primeira vez na vida que jogo um jogo da série RollerCoaster. É fántastico.
i love making my coasters run into people xx absolutely lush xx
Iconic old game I was looking forward to messing around with. Tried to play this on Steam Deck in desktop mode with M & K. I could not get this game to work at all. It get's a pop-up called active movie maker and crashes the game and will not go away. Multiple popups happen at one. Totally borked. Looked online, tried some fixes...nothing worked and seems to be a really common issue with lots of people having issues. Affects sound too. Gave up. Planet Coaster it is! Maybe a skill issue...i'm just glad I got it on sale because I sure as hell didn't get a chance to play. it --Steam deck compatibility-- *Perfect/Nearly perfect out the box - *Perfect after some tweaks - *Runs fine without tweaks - *Runs fine after playing with settings- *Just about Playable, even after playing with settings- *Borderline unplayable; even on lowest and/or heavily modded settings - *This game cannot be played on Steam Deck - X --{ Graphics }--- *Visual Masterpiece- *Beautiful- *Good- *Pretty at times - *Unremarkable but fine- X *Noticeably bad- *Either revoltingly ugly or a glitchy mess- ---{ Gameplay }--- (Didn't load long enough to actually play) *Sleep?
