Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

You ain't so bad, you ain't so bad, you ain't nothin'. C'mon, champ, hit me in the face! My mom hits harder than you!
i love playing with my balls
As usual the most difficult games to review are the ones that come close but then, well, kinda roll off the edge when they really shouldn't. Such is the case for Rock of Ages 3, the third in a series of comical, almost Terry Gilliam-esque historical satires with mildly surrealist comedy themes wrapped around, well, a basic rolling ball physics game. As always the concept of the game is simple. Roll a big boulder (or ball of sheep, or whatever comedy spin each level gives you) down the path, avoid obstacles and hit the end target as fast as you can. The game also features multiplayer modes and a somewhat under-used level designer that allows community made maps, but this didn't get that much engagement despite this being close to an "A" (but definitely not AAA) tier game in terms of budget and marketing. On the upside, the game does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. The graphics and general technical presentation are tolerable, this gets an all-too-rare pass on those important minumum requirements that most indie developers don't seem to be able to meet. Unfortunately there's a number of other technical defects and shortcomings which contribute to the game being difficult to recommend to gamers. There's a pitched focus to multiplayer here, and unfortunately the multiplayer is terrible. There's a few annoying, unfixed bugs with the game, and the game isn't under maintenance anymore, so these won't be fixed. In game AI is quite poor in places which detracts from the overall experience. Level progression is gated through repetition rather than just letting you plod through each level and see the narrative... that's the same kind of problem I had with 8 Bit Armies, too. Sure, I know developers all think every level they make is the Sistine Chapel and don't understand why gamers don't want to keep repeating it again and again and again just so we can finally move on... but we don't. Don't do this. You're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality game this comes across more as a delusion of grandeur than anything else. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. Let's talk about price and the value this represents for us gamers. Should you buy this game? Is it among the best the Steam catalogue has to offer? Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break has the completely unrealistic cash grab price of $15 USD, for which you could easily get any number of older AAA games. For comparison, the $15 asking price for this game could get you games like "Horizon: Zero Dawn", "SCUM" or "Resident Evil Village". Those are definitely better options that this, and that's just a couple of examples. Unfortunately Steam reviewers aren't presented with a "Maybe" option... if they did, that's what I'd choose. This isn't a completely bad game, but it's also not one of the best. As always, if you read my review and you can overlook the negatives I've called out, or they just aren't important to you, then by all means go ahead and buy this.

COMPREN, JUEGUEN y DISFRUTEN mierdas!
While this game is not bad, it feels like a watered down Rock of Ages 2, the maps feels pretty small compared to the previous game, the difficulty is unbalanced (krampus is the elephant in the room for this point), the races are (I won't suggarcoat it) ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, you either eat ♥♥♥♥ until you beat them, or you skip the whole map flying with a balloon rock (Which is a monumental design flaw). Most rocks of this game a recycled from the first 2 games (also there are weird things with the rocks stats, the fist one for example is slow to build but deals higher damage, however the globe one has near the same stats and has a small rock to destroy units around it, yet, it has the standard build time despite being objectively better) the optimization is bad (I had drops from 100 fps to 40). This game would been better as a Rock of Ages 2 dlc rather than standalone game, because that's what it feels like, a dlc. For what the game costs, you can buy the first 2 games together. Also, if you haven't played the 2 previous games, don't start with this one, because you're gonna want to throw the pc out of the window. Is a bad game? Not at all, but the two previous give you a better time (despite they're shorter), I don't see reason to prefer this game over ROA 2 (if you aren't a masochist).
Rock of ages 3: Нуу...

It’s a fun game for four players—too bad the online scene is dead! Still, it’s great for a solid session with friends. The only downside is that some achievements across the trilogy are tied to online play—though you can unlock them by playing with bots, it’s definitely more fun with friends! It’s a shame there are no Ukrainian localizations or fan translations for the trilogy—even though there’s very little text, and the story is conveyed through facial expressions and gibberish.
Easily the best in the series, best game modes, best campaign, honestly the only one worth playing. But stupidly infuriating that there's no manual reset. Four times in a row I've gotten stuck in an unrecoverable position on the last run of a War level and been forced to restart because this game can't recognize when a player is stuck and provides them no tools to resolve the situation
