As someone whose first RoboCop game was RoboCop 3 on the NES and who still loves the first two movies, I went into Rogue City with an open mind. I was pleasantly surprised by how fantastic it is. The gunfights are a massive highlight — brutal, gory and deeply satisfying. Beyond the action, the post-mission therapy sessions and the psychological glitches/memories are brilliantly handled, doing a great job of showing the human side of Alex Murphy. Highly recommended!

Graphics, voice acting and story all above average, but nothing to write home about so far. The vibe is right though, with Peter Weller actually reprising his role. Mechanics are pretty solid too, very different from your typical "Always Run On" type shooter. Robocop's combat is all about efficiency and accuracy, while walking around like a tank. Overall, if you're a fan of the show, and you just wanna turn off your brain for a few nights, i'd recommend it :)

There is no music. You know the background music when you're walking from A to B? OR there is no action? It's literally silent. Sometimes there is sound effects, cars on the overhead bridge, dogs barking etc, but there is no ambience. At all. Just drama music when the shooting starts. Robocop can't run, which makes getting across areas loathsome. The enemy AI is so predictable. The missions are all the same. Go in warehouse, shoot 10 guys. Leave. I did buy it on sale for like £4, so whatever, I may play a bit more, but 3 hours in. There is a little progression tree... pointless. It is just dumb. On the first set of missions, there are safes to crack ('require level 4 in safe opening'). There are clues for crimes ('require level 4 in clue finding'). There are walls to bust down ('require level 3 in wall busting'). Like why have these things there if I can't use them. Just makes me feel weak, and i'm a cutting edge technology crime fighting robot, and I can't open a safe? Get out of here. It's soulless, interesting for like 2 or 3 hours but then, nah.

Extremely fun shooter. I'm honestly surprised how bloody good it is. From fun shooter mechanics with inresting abilities, while at the same time being a good imersive Sim in Robocop´'s Detroit. The RPG elements are actually fun and all the characters (new and old) are well written and loveable.
