I love this game but god the difficulty has nothing to do with skill and everything to do with the game randomly deciding things don't work. Routes? Just fail randomly. Route worked 5 times and suddenly broken. Oh and your vehicles will either turn WAY too sharp or not sharp enough. Oh you're laying cable on a route clearly designed for laying cable? You cannot break a completely random 10 feet of space along the route and there is no work around. You're ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and have to start over on another route. Some of the spawn points cannot use certain vehicles. Namely the heavy equipment trailer. Which you NEED to not spend 30 minutes driving your road building vehicles to a spot. I don't understand it. I want to keep playing but once every 2 hours of gameplay I run into such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mess that makes no sense that I stop playing for days. I can't stand it. Stop releasing new stuff if it doesn't work. Also, WHY GIVE ME A NEW CABLE LAYER THATS HAS THE OPPOSITE PROBLEMS OF THE ORIGINAL. I want a BETTER one not one that sucks in other ways. I would recommend it but it is clear a lot of this stuff and these missions are never even tested. Lastly, LET ME USE BRIDGES. I don't want to unlock them 95% of the way through a map when I no longer need them. I have a steel beams facility. LET ME USE THE STEEL BEAMS. Why do I have to wait to complete a random (unknown) task to unlock them. Usually RIGHT AFTER I HAD TO USE SOMETHING ELSE AND DON'T NEED THEM.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Relatively ok, lots of new and interesting mechanics to the game. Environments and models look amazing, even when being forced to play on medium graphics. Gameplay is just interesting enough to keep you paying attention - I like the new convoy system, but the rewards for setting any of this up feels hollow. My thought is that both the release of this and Expeditions is to get an idea of how the new engine performs, plus figure out which mechanics work and how they'll equate into whatever they make once Snowrunner is milked dry. If you wanna drive, roam around and enjoy a more arcade style version of Snowrunner/Construction Sim - then this is for you. I'd advise waiting for it to go on sale though, as it doesn't perform enough for the costs.
If you love building things and seeing things improve as well as love using construction equipment. This game is probably in the better games you could get. Tho some of the dlcs have a few bugs. Most of the game is good, optimised and a long cozy gameplay, alone or with friends. You are almost not limited on where you want to make roads (outside of some water surface not being fillable with sands and some trees not being removable, and obviously buildings), this includes making a "bridge" by just filling a river with sand. TLDR Gameplay wise, is great. Graphic wise, can be beautiful. Rare bugs, but still Mostly aimed at peoples loving the simulator games (also includes different difficulty level for the sim)
The premise of the game is good, but the performance is lacking. after booting the game up, i can play on high settings native no frame gen at a stable 60 fps. but after about an hour this drops to about 45, which is not even that bad. but the frame times and stutters are so bad. my entire computer start lagging. relaunching the game does not even fix this, i have to restart the entire system. From what I can find online, this has been an issue for quite some time. This just makes the game unplayable for me.
multiplayer never worked
This games looks like a PS2 game. 3 FPS. On a 3070 Ti. I paid 50€ for it. ONE. YEAR. AGO. Haven't been able to contact support either. How can Snowrunner be so good and this be so ♥♥♥♥?
So I'm just at 120 hours play time on Roadcraft and its pretty good, there are a few things could be better though. I'm no civil engineer, most the time I'm not even civil (yes thats called humor) however I do know you dont lay Tarmac on sand, in flood areas sand is useless, water moves sand and the road would last a week, instead you use hardcore, or gravel/ aggregates you might call it, which would also look better once laid, it would blend in with the surround better. Doing this could also bring other things into play sucj as a gravel pit, a digger with bucket for collecting the lose rocks from around the roads, a mobile rock crusher that could then turn said rocks to gravel for the use of, just a thought. Oh and the trucks, the ones that tip over in a breeze when empty or holding 100 tonnes of steel and trip over a stone lol, let some air out of the tires maybe :)
