Risk of Rain is an action platformer with roguelike elements. With permanent death as a primary feature, players will have to play their best to get as far as possible. Fight on a mysterious planet with randomly spawning enemies and bosses, either alone or with 3 friends in online co-op.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 21 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 10: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Might not suit your taste, but for a risk of rain fan a must have.
The initial gameplay hurdle is difficult, but then you realize that you can just jump through most ground attacks :)
nice game, rorr and ror2 are better tho
A 2D adventure rougue like, where you're a space delivery dude and your ship wierdly crashed, so now you need to wonder through planets finding teleporters so you can go back to your ship, while using the dropped cargo as you weapons! The style of the game is amazing, for a 2D game it can really leave u immersed in it, the difference in size of your character and the whole world makes you feel very humbled, challenged and curious! I love the way the lore is presented through the logs, it's really fascinating and a very nice and subtle way to add story and depth to the game without forcing the player to go through a bunch of cut scenes or view it like a movie, it really puts you more in the shoes of this stranded space dude, trying to figure out the bits and pieces of the world surrounding you through logs and journals Gameplay wise: The game feels great to play, it can feel a bit hard to get the hand of kiting, to understand that you need to be patient and not just fight anything u see, to understand that the time really matters and u need to keep moving... But thats the fun of it! getting better and understanding the rules of the world, so you can traverse it. The craziest part of this game, which is what i think sets it apart the most from other rogue-likes, is that you can stack items, which can turn the game upside down in terms of challenge! which feels pretty funny and rewarding, one run you're demolished, another you got a crazy build (like crazy attack speed, or even crazy move speed that makes you traverse the maps in seconds AND I MEAN CRAZY, there is pretty much no cap for your stats), there are also lil bugs in the game which don't really break it as much as make the game more funny (like broken frozen walls), and also hidden maps that let you farm for items, hidden entries that unlock you new items, or characters or game-changing mods (like glass or command) The different characters you can play with, also make the gameplay feel fresh and different everytime, some items work better in some characters than in others which add another layer of knowledge that you can develop! Theres love and care in this! And don't even get me started on the music, DAMN!! Those guitar solos while you're traversing the map? And the hard metal when you're at a boss fight? All while also always giving this spacy sparkly vibe on top of the rock/metal mood, top notch man damn, i'm not even a hard rock dude as much as a soft jazz one, but i LOVE the vibe! Huge props and respect to Hopoo Games for developing this GEM of a game! Watching the thumbnails and the trailer and all that really doesn't compare to sitting through and putting just a bit of time to try out this game: the early, figuring out and discovering how the game works and feels part is fun; the mid, gathering the characters, mods and new items is fun; and the late, knowing the gimmcks and pretty much breaking the game with and making crazy builds is fun!!!! And doesn't matter what step you're in, there's always that challenge, there's always that chance of dying for a one shot (cuz u got too confident), a chance of getting lost and losing time, there is always a Risk of Rain. This game really makes you think of how you can tweak the break the world in some ways when you figure it out, but at the end of the day, you will always just be a small part of it, this little dot on a huge cosmic space, winning and losing, rising and falling. Every step of the way you will have fun, every step of the way you'll feel challenged, and that's how games should feel man. I love Risk of Rain, thank you for making this game, thank you for the fun times, thank you for the wonder!
**10/10.** Went in expecting rain: got bullets, awesome monsters, and a gambling addiction instead. Lore is incredible & at first i had absolutely no idea wtf was happening, but apparently, it’s my fault.
