A brutal godlike village sim that melds the god game, management, and tower defense genres! Fight off hoards of monsters at night, and expand your village in the day time. Inspired by games like Black and White, Rimworld, and Dwarf Fortress but not quite like any of them.

Yeah-nah-yeah, it is awesome, pixels are sweet and worldmap progression is actually compelling. ... just remember: if you see a fire elemental, grab it and throw it into the pit! :D
heavily underappreciated. one of the greatest civ/city builder whatever you wanna call it. easy to learn mechanics is a big thing for me, games like stellaris and crusader kings III can't be fun when it's that complicated. very fun ♥♥♥♥ 8/10

I have nothing bad to say about this game. Its well thought out, everything works fine together, its peaceful but you also have to have an eye on everything and make plans for your game and yeah... i like it! The music also adds a fantastic atmosphere to your growing village. Only suggestion i would have for the programmer is maaaybe an ultra late game building for fighting back the evil guys. like some knights that start spreading out and fighting the corruption on their own and are not overpowered and still count as villagers that can die out and you have to get new guys for the job if they die. something like that, but i like the game anyway how it is. very nice job!
An intriguing colony-sim/tower defense game with a steep difficult curve created by a solo developer. I started off really enjoying this game. The colony management aspect of the game is incredibly deep, with the need to manage food, water, and even trash while building defenses and holding off increasingly difficult waves of enemies. Random events, starvation or poor planning often ends up with your village getting overwhelmed and having to start over. But a nice level up mechanic allows you to gain experience to unlock ability chests that improve everything from your towers, to spells, to how fast your villagers work. My biggest complaint with the game, is that once you've successfully figured out a defensive strategy and stabilized your economy, your offensive options are extremely limited. In fact the game actually punishes you for pushing the enemy back by increasing the spawn rate of hostile units when reclaiming territory at all. While I understand that the idea of the game probably isn't to defeat the "corruption", I would have preferred a goal or some way to finish the campaign. As it stands you can only upgrade your units a limited amount, while enemy increases in strength every night, which basically ensures defeat eventually. Overall: 7/10
I played this game back when it was really basic. I love how far it has come. I do struggle to just win unlike other colony games this game is a whole new way of making a colony and its AWESOME. I love it. I do think the balance is an issue still with nomads/day and I think they either consume too much food, or 3 fully upgraded farms and a clucker hut just don't produce enough food which seemed kinda absurd. It could be something I haven't caught on too yet but it's a challenge and every time I change my build to contest my last issue something else needs to be watched. I think you can make the game easier though through settings if you want but I've been enjoying it as is.
City builder but tower defence but city builder. Nice blend and unique feel. You are expected to loose region eventually! Goal is to survive each night, not to eradicate threat. Steep but rewarding learning curve. Lot of tinkering and optimising if you want. Great addition are achievements and EXP points that improve villages and villagers. Nice game. My 2nd longest played on Steam. I enjoy
close to 300 hours. very fun. you want to keep playing. may variables, options, difficulties. high replay design. it is well done. 9 out of 10.
