Embark on an epic journey across war-torn 19th-century Japan in this open-world action RPG from Team NINJA, the veteran studio behind "Nioh" and "NINJA GAIDEN."

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
13 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

If I paid full price for this on launch i'd be disappointed but on sale its a good value. basically is what if team ninja made a ubisoft open world game. somehow team ninja managed to make a one attack button combat system that deep, theyre just that good at those things. after awhile it does get a bit fatiguing from all the checklist collection and I did start to tire out from all the fetching. The story is alright and enough to hold the game to go out in the world and experience the combat. The game could be better optimized for pc it also has weird interactions like you cannot skip the intro cut scene on start up unless you tab out of the game and reopen it. just weird bugs you wouldn't even think of this a buy on sale if you're looking for something to put on and play with solid combat, nothing will wow you here but you can have your fun. i also recommend putting it on the hardest difficulty as well

13 on sale2 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 2 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Aug 25: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 13 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

So I usually write a review to convince people to play a game. If you love historical Japan - the characters, the setting, and Sekiro-like combat, you will love this game. You begin in Yokohama, and I won't ruin how many parts there are, or the other places you go to. There are many likeable characters, and the world is beautiful. Don't just take my word for it, check out my screenshots; probably the most I've taken in any game. I guarantee you will feel compelled to stop everything you're doing and appreciate the world around you. There are a fair amount of complaints regarding performance. There was a setting which basically fixed all my performance issues, which was under "Visuals" called "Dynamic Adjustment of FPS". Ever since I switched that on, the game ran much, much smoother. Would recommend trying that if you have any issues too. Other than that, if you consider yourself part of the aforementioned audience, you owe it to yourself to give the game a try; you will not regret it. And for anyone that's watched Gintama, you will see many familiar names pop up for members of the Shinsengumi lol.
really bad graphnics for 2025 game. this thing is soulslike wanna be but it is just garbage. i failed big time by buying this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. never again from this dev
This game takes up WAY too much space for what it is. Dated graphics, buggy port, and with unbalanced gameplay. I have rage quit this game many times. And yet it is still one of my favorite games. This game is like if Assassins Creed Shadows wasn't bad and had a baby with Nioh 2, but they dropped the baby a few times. The combat is fun and hard. The open world has all the waypoints and collectables AC players are used to. The story involves actual choice. Over the top powers and animations that feel like anime. And to top it off you make not only your main character, but a second character who's nature I won't spoil. Maybe I am just starved for open world samurai/ninja games but this scratches an itch that will never go away and lets me pretend to be Rurouni Kenshin at the same time.
