A retro first-person shooter inspired by Blood, Duke Nukem 3D, and Rise of the Triad. REVEREND is a dark, twisted tale with religious undertones, terrifying creature designs and one hell of a personality.

Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 30 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Short but sweet boomer shooter, I suck so I ended up finishing it with god mode enabled. There are better games in this genre for sure but for 1 euro it's perefectly fine.
Repent, Reverend, for you have sinned against good gaming. This retro first-person shooter is basically a master class in bad design. The engine is very similar to Build (the one used for Blood and Duke Nukem 3D) but it's not the same one. It has the same quirks and limitations but somehow seems worse. No inverting the Y axis with the mouse unless you do a workaround, which should have been the most basic thing to get right. The sprites are ugly, too dark and can get lost in the background. You can't pick up the ammo from the guys who were just shooting at you. Second level is particularly obnoxious. Almost invincible boss where you will run out of ammo while being shot at by very tough pillars you can't easily destroy. I passed this by exploiting the bug where enemies can get stuck on objects or walls. This served me well against other bosses too. Save games give no indication where you are. The map is too small and basically useless. I'm skipping other flaws as the review is already too long. To be fair, the last levels get suitably original and nightmarish in terms of looks. It took me two hours to finish and I wish it had ended sooner.
REVEREND: 100% COMPLETION REVIEW

If you love completing games, take a look at our curator site.

Was this a proof of concept? Or was this supposed to be a fully fleshed out game? Because what's in here is less than an hour of content with ugly sprites and half baked "story". By far the worst DOSman game. A friend of mine gifted me a key for this, and I wish he could get a refund, this sucks. I'm a huge boomer shooter fan and I eat up whatever game from this genre I see, but this is horrible. Sad excuse of a game.
This game is cool, just not really for me. I did make it through the first level and boss properly before deciding that was enough actual effort. After that i cheated my way through the rest of the game for the achievements. 5/10 definetely sinned.
A short and simplistic FPS with some cool environments but awful scanner damage. It's hard to tell what's damaging the player most of the time. If you can get past that, it's fine, but this dev has much better games (Like Dead Trash).
relativamente corto, a mi me llevo poco mas de 2 horas, el juego no destaca por su historia, aun que el gameplay, graficos y musica es particularmente curiosa. si lo encuentras en oferta vale la pena.
I got this for super cheap from Fanatical with all the other DOSMan games. First one I'm playing, and eh. The idea is cool, the monster designs are fantastic. Actually, all the sprites in general are pretty good. There's a ♥♥♥♥ ton of easter eggs, like 2 or so per level, with a bunch of secret areas. The music design is really good too for a super cheap game. Main issue is lack of food in the buffet, and it is all brought to you instead. The game feels way too easy, and cheap at the same time. All the enemies are predictable but the men have auto aim it feels, but they rarely will kill you unless you let them. The bosses kinda just float around and you can kill them pretty easily too. Ammo is plentiful beyond hell, especially if you actually play the game like a DOOM Wad type game and explore everything. I beat everything in a hour, the 9 minutes was from me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around on youtube. I'd say wait for a super cheap sale. It's fun for what it was, but I want more depth. More oomph. It felt like some genuine love was put in, but needs way more meat and difficulty.
Decent fun for about 1.5 hours My biggest complaint is the fact you cannot rebind jump, but hey ho Not a bad little game other than that - 6/10
quick cheap fun, just like your mother
2.3/10 meh its 3$ only about 45 minutes of gameplay to 100% the rest is afk card farming would still get on deep sale
