We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

Delightful point'n'click adventure, definitely a worthy entry to the series. The puzzles were very do-able ... even while drunk on grog ;)
still has that timeless charmed touch

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

such a cute little game. loved the characters, the music, the story and the ending. looking forward for the next one, if they ever decide to make a new one:)
The production quality on Return is quite good. The new visual style is appealing, the writing is very much in the vein of Secret and Revenge (1 and 2 respectively.) A bit tongue in cheek, it covers for any plot discrepancies in sequels with its premise. However, the puzzles include far too many obtuse backtracking ones and fan service to really make this a perfect ten. The story is very linear and simple, the ending is brief, and offers an "interpret what you will" version of things (though there are several slight variations.) While it seems a respectful way to end the series it's far too short for the length of the game and for any fans. The game uses its own tropes as its foundation, as a sort of fanservice which means an awful lot of is "recycled" but with a "where are there now" vibe which drastically cuts down any sort of novel new or original ideas and feels like a rehash/epilogue, with some elements being far better than others. I got this as part of of Humble Choice meaning it was part of an 8 game bundle for $15. I am more than happy with that, however terms of ranking I'd say as Monkey Island games this sits solidly under 1-3, but is better than or equal to 5, and better than 4 (Escape was a mess, let's admit it.)
Excellent game that brings back the era where adventure games were the kings of pc gaming
If you like the original, you'll like this too. Way easier though but funny :D
Immer wieder gut! 🥳🤣
