About

Set 15 years before A Plague Tale: Requiem, play as Sophia, a fierce young plunderer, on the run but determined to uncover the secrets of her past. Dive into an original story blending combat, myth and fate with a brand new take in the universe of A Plague Tale.
Sophia’s journey leads to the Minotaur' Island, where she faces deadly trials, navigates treacherous trails, solves puzzles, all while fighting and staying one step ahead of the army chasing her. But the true challenge awaits, as the terrifying creature hidden behind the myth will soon resonate with her…

Sophia is a skilled, agile, and strong-willed fighter who engages in dynamic and violent melee combat. Followed by many enemies, each drawn to the Island to reclaim a mysterious treasure, you must navigate a treacherous maze. Rely on your agility, tricks and sharp reflexes to outsmart enemies, perfect your parries, and unleash powerful strikes to survive deadly encounters.

Shift between the Middle Age of Sophia and ancient Minoan times, where echoes of the past shape the battles of the present. Unfold a new story in the universe of A Plague Tale, through the entwined destinies of two heroes linked by fate and the Macula’s mysterious legacy.

Guided by the knowledge safeguarded in your notebook, follow in your crew’s footsteps to explore a richly detailed world, unravel its secrets, and face deadly trials. Use a stolen Minoan sphere to solve ingenious puzzles by manipulating light - a force woven by Daedalus into the island’s very heart.

It is said that only a few came back from the island. Lurking in the shadows lives a restless presence. It follows you around, seemingly knowing your every move, as it hunts through the island’s depths.
Every step is a risk. Every pause, a potential end. You can’t stop, only hide, outsmart, and push forward. Can you survive each trial and every step or will you join those who never came back?

Reviews
excellent, loved the way it tells the story, the characters, combat was good, mostly. only downside is that it was a little short with just about 13 hours and that did include me failing quite often.
É um jogaço recomendo muito, a história é sensacional, a trilha sonora é muito foda, super recomendo, a gameplay não é das mais refinadas mas é bastante satisfatório, o ritmo do jogo é muito bom, não tem como enjoar.

3 hours in and I really enjoy it so far. Nice worlds, the fighting is interesting and the puzzles are beautiful. It is a bit less dark than plague tale (visually and story) which is a welcome change.
I never really took my time in trying out the Plague Tale games, till I got a bit bored and tried out Resonance, had me hooked from start to finish and I might do a second run later on this year just cuz I enjoyed it this well. The combat sometimes got the better of me, surely as I had kept myself to reading and turn based games, it had me sit forward and learn to time parries as if my life depended on it. Loved the challenge, even if I cussed at my screen a bit.. The story kept me engaged, where at some moments I was actually mad at the "evil" characters. It sometimes feels a bit iffy, where you come to wonder "Why did they get an easier path and we didnt think of it?" but the puzzles were fun so I didnt mind. The graphics and general look felt great, at some points I stopped to just look around and consider making it one of the pictures of my bg.
Game looks fantastic. Runs well. Fairly linear and a lot of fun. Recommend.
Aside from the plot holes of how did you get this far before without doing these things I've done up to this point, I thought the game was absolutely wonderful! I liked the combat on normal difficulty, but being a gamer I should've actually started on hard to actually give myself the challenge. I think the story was great and I'm actually going to play the one before this so that I can continue the story. They said this was a prequel but I haven't played the other games so I'm excited to explore this IP a bit more. Graphically was a home run, I played on ultra and didn't have any noticeable stuttering or visual issues and was very thrilled with this whole title. Had me at the edge of my seat many times and I really did not want to put it down for breaks because I just needed to know the next part. I would very much recommend to a friend. If I try to explain more of what I loved I'd accidentally spoil the game, so I really recommend giving it a shot.
Wonderful graphics and performances (voice and motion capture). Love the music, enjoyed the combat (not S-tier but it works well). I saw one particular death cutcene waaaaaay to many times and think the game may have leaned a little too heavily on that particular baddy but overall it did not detract from a game I'm glad I experienced.
.
Amazing game, very beautiful visuals and music, satisfying challanging combat, variety of mechanics, great story. Maybe it could use more character development and downtime moments to get to know everyone better and thus feel more towards them and their struggles. Still, a great game and an interesting expansion to the lore of Plague's Tale world. Also, commendable pricing for Poland.
