Blending action and survival horror, Resident Evil 6 promises to be the dramatic horror experience of 2013.

Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

There are moments of a good game buried in Resident Evil 6. The story kept me interested, the returning characters are cool, and it still looks surprisingly good for a game from this era. The movement also gives you more freedom than the older games, with sliding, rolling, quick shots, melee attacks, and a lot more mobility. When the combat encounters have clear weak points and actually communicate whether I’m damaging something, they can be genuinely fun. I also enjoyed the more straightforward action combat more than I expected in some sections. Unfortunately, the game constantly finds ways to turn that fun into frustration. Basic enemies seem to take completely random amounts of damage. One might die from a couple of headshots, while the next absorbs most of my ammunition without any obvious reason. Several bosses feel like pure damage sponges, with little feedback to indicate whether my attacks are accomplishing anything. I don’t feel like I overcame a difficult encounter through skill. I feel like I ran around searching for ammunition until the game finally decided I had dealt enough damage. The instant-death QTEs are even worse. You can have full health and plenty of supplies, but missing one sudden prompt kills you immediately. Some sequences seem designed around having a human co-op partner, which makes playing alone feel poorly balanced. The AI companion usually isn’t enough to compensate, and too many encounters become exercises in reloading checkpoints, fighting the camera, or hoping I have ammunition at the exact moment the game demands it. This also barely feels like horror to me. I prefer slower, atmospheric Resident Evil games that build tension through their environments. Resident Evil 6 takes the action side of the series and turns it up by about a thousand. It often feels more like an ordinary Xbox 360-era third-person shooter with monsters, military firefights, explosions, and nonstop spectacle. That approach can work, but the aiming, camera, resource balance, and older design gimmicks don’t support the pace particularly well. I don’t think it’s completely terrible, and I understand why some people enjoy its ridiculous action and co-op mechanics. I’ve had fun with parts of it, and there are individual encounters I genuinely liked. There have simply been far more sections that annoyed me than entertained me. It’s exhausting to play for long stretches, and compared with every other Resident Evil game I’ve played, this has easily been my least enjoyable experience.
QUE PORONGA TAN PORONGA DE LAS PORONGAS
It's not a really great Resident Evil game tbh. I probably would have more fun if I give co op a try but as a standalone, it doesn't hold up. It did give us a great looking Leon and Ada tho ngl
i need a cutscene where leon takes his clothes off pulease!
Its a good action game but its not a resident evil game. Most explosions and action, extremely lacking in that horror
