This game is a port of the Games for Windows - Live version that was released in 2009. If you buy the Untold Stories Bundle here on Steam, it will be the same as upgrading to Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 22.14/day in the week to Sep 8 → 33/day in the week after.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Nintendo publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

ew no that was buns even WITH coop im playing re4 again
I like Sheva's fairytale outfit very much :)
Fantastic coop game. Very robust gameplay systems, especially the cooperative elements and combat where RE5 shines the most. Animations and graphics are both high quality and hold up impressively well for a 2009 game. Story is stupid over the top nonsense and I love it. Voice acting is solid across the board. Music surprised me and there's some bangers here (the track called "Sad But True", amongst others, is genuinely phenomenal). Mercenaries is of course absolute peak. The only negatives I really have are a small number of sections in the campaign kind of drag a bit for my liking and there were two sections where my friend and I had to cap our frames to 30 due to a bug with the port. Neither of these really affected our enjoyment in the grand scheme of things and the work around to the bug, while slightly annoying, is so easy to do that it isn't really an issue. Extra note: Sheva! Sheva! Come on! Hurry! Sheva! Come on! Gimme an egg!

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 33.63/day in the week to Jul 21 → 38.4/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

this game made me put my fingers up my ass
es bueno :)
This is peak gaming (especially when playing with a friend) The Wesker cutscenes? Hillarious, I love them. The Wesker fights? Hard but great. THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ UROBOROS BOSS? (the second one, i'll just say "flamethrower" IYKYK) IS HARDER THAN THE FINAL BOSS OF THE GAME BRUH. Me and my duo kept failing and had to look up guides, this damn boss is harder than the final boss of the game LOL. Anyways, I adore the game, 10/10. Definitely get a friend to play with you, it makes the game even funnier certain times. Peak gaming. IT'S WESKIN TIME
vfery fun, i complete with a charming friend. irving boss fight was maximum cronenbergian.
