Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2.43/day in the week to Sep 7 → 3.14/day in the week after.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 3.83/day in the week to Jul 21 → 4.6/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Something is different here, for one there aren’t two options for which character to play, you will play as Jill Valentine, reprising her role from the first entry in the series. A few new features are present here, you can now craft bullets. Collecting different gunpowder you can combine them with each other or alone to craft bullets, as you progress if you craft the same ammo you get better at it, a nice little way of showing progress in the game. Secondly is the dodge mechanic, while a neat feature (by timing the action button presses you can dodge an attack) in execution it is a bit mixed. The timing can be difficult to get down for certain enemies leading to costly errors, worse if you are surrounded by enemies you can get chained where instead of shooting you are constantly dodging until you take damage or die. This leaves the dodge feature as something that happened more on accident than intentional. Lastly is Nemesis himself, we’ve encountered Tyrants previously, even one that sort of chased you in 2 but here it is on another level. Nemesis will chase you around much of the map and is relentless. This completely changes the dynamic of the game and adds some additional terror as you run through Racoon City. Speaking of Racoon City, this one takes place throughout it and you see just how messed up it has gotten as a result of the outbreak, it is not a pretty sight to see. Given the expanded nature of the city there is less of a central area you frequent in this one and more linear levels, while this does remove some of the charm of constantly visiting and the clever interconnectedness it allows the story to expand in ways that simply weren’t possible in the others. While relatively straight forward there is a sense of purpose and drive in the action here that feels less stumbling around then the others, this focus allows a cleaner story even if it leaves out puzzles. Another feature of the narrative is the ability to make choices that have slight alterations on the narrative, while relatively minor they add some extra interactability and replayability. Overall a very solid entry, the addition of Nemesis and a more focused story enhance the game and give it a unique feel, while the puzzles are less and the dodging mechanic is a bit dodgy it’s still a worthwhile experience.
