Regiments is a Real-Time Tactics game set in Germany 1989. The Cold War has gone hot, and the inferno is raging. Lead your Regiment through the fires of conflict and the fog of war. Break through the lines, call in artillery, maneuver, feign retreats, stage defenses, counter-attack. Do not relent.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Better at being wargame than any of Wargame games. Best pick for singleplayer entartainment. Game is about actual tactics, planning and decision making. Throwing a lot of tanks / inf at the problem or spamming arty all day gonna lose you more battles than win, unlike 'other' games. Post-release support from developer, free content and amazing recent DLC are something to take as an Golden standart in industry. I am serious.
The more I played this game, the more I came to regard it as an accessible introduction to the sort-of-deck-building RTS like Warno or its WW2 companion Steel Division II. The differences I found are all positive for my very personal liking: 1) a good price tag for its full content and replayabilty; 2) slower pace and somewhat smaller scale (but still you have to plan well in advance and turn out sufficient forces where they have to be, and think the operations in a long term perspective!); 3) simplified but still significant and realistic customization of your task force. The 4) is: Regiments is Single Player only! Bear this in mind. The old school World in Conflict vibes are overwhelmingly strong, and You really feel totally in charge of Your Battalion or Regiment: divided between fighting the enemy, your superiors and your subordinates (in that order), trying and unFUBARing the logistic pipeline, pleading for additional support, scrounging somehow some badly needed replacements for men and machines... all of this, with one nervous eye to the situation above, behind and beside your Area of Responsibility: any hiccup will have to be factored in at one point or another of the operation, as any boon exploited at just the right time. Gameplay wise, I reccomend it for anyone who ever played Combat Mission and Company of Heroes liking both. Setting and lore wise, any "canonic WW3 in Germany" wargamer/reader will feel truly at home.
People are pissed off that Broken Arrow does not have an option to save the game during a mission. Yeah, well, neither does this game. Unfortunately I didn't how about this, and certainly not how much of a dealbreaker this would be for me before purchasing the game and DLC. I really liked the demo when I first played it prior to full release of the game, as I was under the impression that this game would be more accessible and less frustrating than the Wargame series. Even better, this game was exclusively singleplayer! Plus the scenario idea didn't seem so bad, either. Sadly it's not nearly as good as I was led to believe. Being unable to save could - somewhat - be excused for one-off skirmish battles, but during the campaign? It's a no-go for me. Each phase lasts 20 to 30 minutes, and with preparation, as well as assessing the situation and giving orders while paused, a phase can easily last 45 ro 60 minutes. Not being able to save in that time is a HUGE red flag for me. Moreover, I found what little I played of the introductory campaign to be frustratingly difficulty, unexpectedly so even on easy difficulty (in b4 "git gut scrub" and "skill issue lol" comments), as I was facing off not against superior NATO forces but against the same stuff that the player (GDR) had access to. The narrative of the story is kind of interesting, and a limited conflict escalating from a single incident seems much more believable at the time and place the game takes place (Germany 1989) than the full-blown war scenarios more commonly seen in media. With all of this being said, I am heartbroken to try and get a refund for this game despite my playtime (<3 hours), because I really liked the premise and what I saw in the demo. But the full game with its features does not live up to my expectations at all, and from what I can tell development has more or less ceased (sans for one or two minor future bugfixes that may be necessary).
The developers choice to lock multiple units into one regiment was a mistake. Unit movements become artificial, with several doing exactly the same animations to advance, shoot or turn.
Braindead AI, simplistic as a mobile game.
You have so many objectives in campaign and so few units... how to capture and hold 12 objectives with a total of 10 units ?!
less sweaty wargame... still need to know what you are doing but way less micro. would have been nice if there was more graphical fidelity since we actually have time to manage and watch engagements in this one.. kinda silly seeing tanks drive through houses etc 8/10
