Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

There are so many clunky thing in the game which I can tolerate. The one that I can't... Is that when you go play a mission where you didn't grind enough you get one hit kill. That was acceptable, what is unacceptable is that there isn't a button of "go back to the camp" when you found out you're out level and this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because the "Next mission" doesn't tell level of enemies, the map or objective, you literally go in blind. If you are going to tell me that's because I chose "Normal" difficulty and not "Easy" which is probably for streamer, then I guess this game is made for Streamer and not anyone else. This game looks and feel like late PS2 game or Early PS3 game but lack of polish and proper play test to show how broken the game is. So you have to go load the game of the previous save(you can't press continue cause that will put you back in the game that you lost)
This game is truly an underrated and hidden gem, with some of the strongest worldbuilding and soundtracks within the genre. Redemption Reapers is a turn-based tactical RPG with a solid foundation and great gameplay-loop. The Joint Attack mechanic is a great addition to the formula, creating explosive turns solely off the back of good positioning. The select cast allows for a focused narrative true to its setting, and character growth meaningfully complements combat. The dark setting feels grounded, realistic to its setting, and constantly threatening. The world-building is excellent and one of its strongest points, with letters and notes strewn on the battlefield as collectibles that read as real documents. Everything in this game breathes atmosphere, making it an extremely immersive experience. To break it down in an overview: PROS: - The combat is excellent, offering solid fundamental tactical combat on a grid. Action Points are used for attacks and abilities, and are completely decoupled from movement. This allows your units to split actions and movement how you see fit, giving the player every possibility to optimize their positioning. At the heart of Redemption Reapers’ combat lies the Joint Attack system, where characters adjacent to the enemy target can attack as well; chaining for multiple adjacent characters. This system is very smooth, transparent, and fully utilizes the positioning-opportunities just mentioned. However, damage is high both ways (you deal a lot of damage, but you also receive a lot of damage), so proper positioning is maximally rewarded in this game. - Redemption Reapers presents a world in decay, overwhelmed by unknown forces. The setting is dark, grim, and realistic within its own boundaries. This world is immediately gripping, amplified by the notes and letters scattered throughout this world. All characters (both PC’s and NPC’s) act and react in a plausible manner, and each character feels like their own personality. The story of Redemption Reapers focuses on a notorious band of mercenaries with some skeletons in their closet. The ending is true to its setting, and fulfills a power fantasy rarely fulfilled. Combined with the music (which is an OST that perfectly captures the scene presented), the game can bring you to tears on more than one occasion. - The game lets you control five players, each with their distinct personality and playstyle. Character growth is meaningful and ties into their combative roles very cleanly. Though the options might seem limited at first, as your characters grow, their interactions become increasingly clear. When you reach the mid-game, you’ll notice the party running like a well-oiled machine. And due to it being “only” five characters, the narrative is contained to itself without delving too much into the larger scope of this world. CONS: - Most of the game is presented via written text next to still-images, though the game is fully voice-acted. There are several FMV’s, which (though appreciated) look dated quickly and feels like something from a PS3-game. They are certainly good enough, but not up to par to the standards of many other games. - The story is contained and satisfying, but feels part of a larger whole. The world is so rich in scope and detail that the entire narrative feels like a first act to a larger story. Although the story of the Ashen Hawks is fully wrapped up, many things about the larger world and other NPC’s remain unanswered. - The game can be quite repetitive. Since damage is so high, you’re rewarded for a slower, tactical crawl. Since you only have two frontline characters (but rarely size-two chokepoints), you’ll often find yourself in an intense tactical retreat. Although true to the setting and an embodiment of the stakes of the setting, it slows the game down considerably. This happens twice, once when you’re retreating to create the space to maneuver. And since damage is so high, you’re rewarded for aggro’ing as few enemies as possible. This can make for a slow crawl. TL;DR: The combat is great with the Joint Attack system offering a fresh and unique addition to the genre. The world feels real, and is rich in detail and immersion. Alongside a gripping, self-contained story and an amazing soundtrack, this game can move you to tears more than once. If you’re a fan of rich, immersive dark fantasy worlds, or if you’re a fan of tactical RPG’s like Fire Emblem, Gears: Tactics or even something like Hard West II, then you’re gonna love this game.
It's not terrible but it messes up some pretty basic concepts and mechanics that have been standard in RPGs for decades at this point. The Good _______ * Art style is not bad - Feels like a decent blend of asian and european design concepts that merge into a overarching theme that is unique without feeling generic. This results in good character design, effective monsters, and a dismal and dreary setting. * Music is pretty good - It has a dramatic and somber mood that carries itself pretty well and does a good job of matching the mood. * Great inspirations - It feels like playing Dragon Age Grey Wardens in a tactics style final fantasy game using font and HUD inspired by Dark Souls. Where it ♥♥♥♥♥ up ------------------- * Controls - This is the most apparent thing you will notice the moment you have control in the game. It took the simplicity of a turn based grid battle system and convoluted the ♥♥♥♥ out of it by using WASD keys to move your characters. Those two methods both sound basic and reasonable, but end up being mutually exclusive. It creates all kinds of conflicts and disconnects for movement, selection, and even gauging distance. You can't zoom out, and you can only ever have one selected unit selected at a time, so you have to constantly switch back and forth between your own units and the enemies to see if you're going to be in their attack or movement range, and you're constantly panning the camera back and forth to do it since you lack the ability to zoom the map out. Everything should have been a click command, with toggle options. * The writing - From the first cutscene every thing we get is pretty poorly written. The rinse and repeat format of Cinematic > Battle Map > Character management screen just constantly hammers you with the bad dialogue as a result. Every narrated thought or brief dialogue is just seeping in writing that stinks of an overly dramatic anime. * The game's AI - I've encountered too many enemies that will not move unless you end your turn within their charge range. This often forces you to give them the first attack against you. I've inched around Mort spawns, trying to draw them toward me over the course of multiple turns and they just would not budge. It's incredibly stupid. The controls are carnal sin to me, and thus a deal breaker. There's no getting used to it, because it requires you to de-program yourself when it comes to the use of the WASD keys, which is typically efficient for fast movement and quick response. Here it results in you activating menus and options without selecting any characters, and conversely causing you issues, because you're intended to take your time as you plan and execute commands with a strategic mindset. The way you are supposed to play the game, and the controls they selected for that playstyle are complete contradictions. I feel like an update that offers an alternate control scheme could drastically improve the experience, but as is, I can't stand this.
