Red Dead Redemption.... I completely understand why it's considered a classic. Even after experiencing Red Dead Redemption 2 first, the original still delivers an incredible experience with its memorable story, fantastic characters, and immersive open world. For a game released in 2010, it has aged very well. The gunplay is satisfying, the controls are easy to learn, and Dead Eye never gets old. The soundtrack is phenomenal, especially during some of the game's most iconic moments, and the world does a great job of capturing the atmosphere of the American frontier. John Marston is an outstanding protagonist, and after playing Red Dead Redemption 2, his story carries even more emotional weight. Watching him do everything he can to protect his family while being forced to hunt down the remaining members of the Van der Linde gang makes for a gripping narrative from beginning to end. The supporting cast is equally memorable, from Dutch's tragic downfall to unforgettable characters like Bonnie MacFarlane, Landon Ricketts, Nigel West Dickens, and Marshal Johnson. Every region introduces new personalities that make the journey feel fresh. The side content is also enjoyable and gives you plenty of reasons to explore the world. However, Undead Nightmare just wasn't for me. I can see why so many people enjoy it, but I personally preferred the grounded atmosphere and storytelling of the main game. As for the achievements, I'd rate the difficulty around 6/10, with most of the challenge coming from reaching 100% completion and finishing all the ambient challenges. Red Dead Redemption remains one of Rockstar's greatest games. Its story, characters, and atmosphere have stood the test of time, and it's easy to see why so many people still consider it a masterpiece. 9/10

Dear God almighty Father in Heaven.... The "10.8hrs" that Steam says I played, was actually all the time I spent in the Rockstar Launcher.... Simply just trying to troubleshoot why I can't connect to "Online Mode," instead of "Offline Mode," along with other connection errors and different code errors presented to me.... I would like a refund because I already have RDR1 on my PS3 and mobile phone via Netflix subscription, and I can't even play the game on my laptop! AFTER 10.8 HOURS OF TROUBLESHOOTING IN THE LAUNCHER!! That being said I would definitely recommend RDR1 to folks who have the proper gaming setup to run the game properly.... The only reason why I will give this game a "thumbs up," is simply because I've played it and enjoyed playing it on my PS3 and mobile phone....
I really love this game it is a story that comes after rdr2 and it is great. I only got made when the horse threw me off in a really anoying way and i even killed the horse for it one time but I got used to it. Also stamina of the horse comparde to rdr2 is worse and it dries up faster and controls for a wagon (horse race stuff) are a bit hard. The game itself is great for its time and really fun I reccomend it to anyone who likes western style games.
