Experience the story of former outlaw John Marston as he tracks down the last remaining members of the notorious Van der Linde Gang in the PC debut of the critically acclaimed predecessor to Red Dead Redemption 2.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 3: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Latest in each market: best MX #75, worst UK #98 · 9 markets collected
US · last 30 days
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 23/day in the week to Jul 30 → 22/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Melhor franquia de jogos.
Second time completing this game, first time on Steam. Runs great, very few bugs and those that occurred were cosmethic, like a character sitting next to a chair for instance. One crash in 88 hours. Very solid.
I got into this game because Red Dead Redemption 2 is truly one of the best games I've ever played. I knew this one was an oldie, but goodie and had recently been remastered. I wanted to find out what happened to the gang members who escaped in the prequel, so I decided to play this. I think they did a decent job with the remaster and I'm aware that this is an older game so I'm not going to judge it as harshly. The horse animations are a bit clunky, but that's to be expected in an older game like this. The lassoing and hogtying are not intuitive or enjoyable. I wish this skill wasn't tied to so many missions in the game, but I was able to do well enough that I wasn't locked out of progressing. This works great with a controller (my preferred method of playing video games). The acting was well produced and directed, with inspired casting for John Marston. I can tell a lot of love was put into this game and it shows.
super recomendado, me encanto
great story, undead nightmare is a fun spin-off to it. i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate bounties
(The review was written in 2026. RDR1 was released in 2010. RDR2 was released in 2018) I played RDR2 first and wanted to see how its story ends, as it was a prequel to RDR1. I rarely leave bad reviews, but oh boy has the RDR1 aged badly. Probably the first game where the low voice/sound effect recording quality actively distracts you from the game. The world feels empty, the missions are very rushed. RDR1 really lacks the atmosphere, which was the main thing I liked in RDR2. The only redeeming quality was, that the latter half of the game was actually fine story-wise, but still I feel I might have been better off reading it from a Wiki than spending these 13 hours for it.
Great game but definitely not worth 50$, I recommend you wait until a sale like 25% off like I did.
